Yes working on LS4 swap trying to collect all the parts I need and fab most pieces before I take anything apart. Step one is getting another tyranny for the car to begin the bellhousing mods.

Took off from a start yesterday and got on it to be able to cross a busy intersection. The drivers manual booklet thing came flying out of the kick panel from the acceleration! That put a big smile on my face

After being down for maintenance and mods over the last month my S4 is finally running and drivable again. Here's the list of what went on:

Upgraded to a JHM automatic tensioner assembly and belt. ( Factory stuff was shot)
Installed new front crank seal
Installed new valve cover gaskets and all PCV seals
Cleaned and refinished the valve covers in black wrinkle finish
Soldered in all new coil pack connectors
Installed new coil pack conduits
Installed new spark plugs
Refinished the factory wheels in black
Installed new power steering pump and flushed the PS system
Installed Depo e-code headlights. I was going to do a mini h1 bi-xenon retrofit on them but decided to go with Morimoto 2Stroke LEDs for both low and high beams.
Installed an Android 5.1 head unit and added a backup camera, GPS etc.

Next round in a few weeks will be an oil check valve kit, JHM intake spacers and an oil change.

Installed puddle lights; RS for pilot/navigator and four rings for rear passengers. Super easy install, impressed by how bright and sharp images ended up being.
Most passengers seem to be more impressed by the lights than 420 hp!

This little f@#ker took me 6 hours to install. It connects onto the top of the water pump and sits behind the AC lines. Had to put the car into the service position to get to it (minus disconnecting everything).

No leak now , although i did find my front engine snub mount totally trashed. Will go with OEM for now.

Made a diagram of the timing chain and tensioner components with associated part numbers. It's still missing a couple of items from the covers - CPS seals, rear upper cover gaskets, rear coolant pipe seals, EGR gaskets, rear main seal, etc. I'll probably make a separate diagram for the covers and eventually map it over to a high-res picture.

Updated the diagram to include the 4 timing chains since it's in the same layer (timing chain covers being the next layer out), and added an o-ring for the lower, right tensioner that I didn't know I needed until I saw it in another thread.

I had the carbon cleaning done two weeks ago, likely for the first time, and I can definitely feel the difference – so I am enjoying pretty close to 420 hp. For now… ;)

It's more aggressive, that's for sure. Really growls at higher RPM, no drone yet, but I haven't taken on the highway. I'd like a little more volume, so i'll be doing piggies shortly.

No engine swap, the car started life as an B7 RS4 and we've built it to look like a B6.

Still waiting on parts so not able to start the car yet.

Nope. Running euro B7 Recaro seats all retrimed in alcantara and napa Leather. Fine blend of old vs new.
