A5 Rear Seat Cover for Dog

Looking for any suggestions on a good cover for my rear seats. All of the cheapo "one size fits all" type covers dont stay put on leather at all.

Currently jamming a comforter behind the seats but it's an eye sore.

Anyone who wants to gripe about putting a dog in an Audi, save it. Love my dog way more than my car and he's a BEAST! (he's a working dog so pretty much always with me)

Awesome pup. Sorry i dont have recommendations , but i see a lot of "cheapo" car seat covers on sale at tj max for like 10$. Some of them even advertise audi on the cover! U can give them a try and return if u dont like.

Heres my pup in his car seat in my a5. Car gets dirty all the time from his drool, but i could care less as long as hes happy

I have tried the ones from TJX before but they slide around alot.

I hear ya on the drool as well, I usually keep some interior wipes on hand for the doors and stuff and then clean the leather with a cloth and some leather masters cleaner when its getting drool marks built up.

Awesome pup! I had really good luck with the Audi one when I had my B8 and it worked well with two dogs (60lbs and 40lbs) for a few years. Actually still using it in my car now. We've had really good ones before from Doctors Foster and Smith (http://www.drsfostersmith.com/dog-su.../c/3307/12/113) that may be worth a look. Good luck!

I put a few towels down on the leather (paddling, extra protection)..followed by bench protector.

I've got a Kurgo one too but the front bucket seats with fixed headrests makes it difficult to form the hammock. And the hair gets stuck in the material. And drool still gets on the side windows and rear armrests. I just use a fitted sheet to wrap over the rear head rests and then tuck into the gab between the bottom seat cushion and rear side panels. Pretty easy to carefully take the sheet out and shake off the hair or wash it.

All weather floor mats make vacuuming the hair a lot easier too.

yup sounds about right. I don't use the hammock part, just the extra length is nice to over the seat and more. Hair does get stuck in it, so usually put blanket on top. (prevents slipping to)

I have an English Bulldog that rides shotgun with me, but I've yet to find a well fitting bucket seat cover to fit an S5.

I've been using Top Paw Bucket Seat Cover from PetSmart. But because the seats are so thick, the cover tends to rip on the edges when stretched.

If anyone has found a pet cover for the front S5 seat that actually fits, please share!

No hate here. I bought a truck just to make sure my dog has a safe, comfortable spot to sit when we take her places. She hit her head on the roof in the Evo, but she has way more room in the Tacoma.

Some of those covers actually do really well. I have a canvas cover that clips to what would otherwise be the child safety restraint system. I think my wife got it at Marshall's / TJ Max for $20. Do the dog a solid and get him a dog safety belt that clips onto a child restraint system, too. In the event of an accident it will keep your pooch from going through the windshield.

Awesome doggies!!! I just stuffed a sheet in around the seat but now she rides in the passenger seat. And the leather in these is surprisingly really tough.

Check this out. It's an actual Audi accessory, specifically for pets. This example is on an S4, but I saw an A5/S5 accessory catalog that had the same one.

lots of great ideas in this thread! I've been wanting to take my lab with me here and there. I'm worried about his nails puncturing the leather.

I use the Duluth trading company one. Big dog equals big paws, and one of mine is a working dog. I switch the Duluth between the Lexus, Audi, and Jeep. Both dogs prefer the hammock and it works fine in the Audi with the buckets.

Fleece on the seat side for no abrasion, thick enough that claws don't mark through, and canvas on top that they sit on. The canvas retains hair pretty bad, but I just vacuum it with my Dyson.

I just use a small flat bed. My dog doesn't like to move when its in a car. So its usually in one place.
