    Now with these times, are we talking Brake + Mash gas, or just normal green light smash... I feel like my real world 0-60 is about 5s full weight, PS AS3s.

    From what I have read, 4.4-4.9 seems to be the time range. I haven't timed myself (not at a strip) but it does move fast!

    Stage 2 DSG cars dip below 4 seconds all day. 3.6-3.9 isn't far off.

    3.6-3.9 is far from far off.. I can run consistent 3.7-3.8's all day in any weather, but thats likely due to the work I have done and my super sticky 180 TW Pilot Sport Cup 2s

    All this car needs to run high 3-second 0-60 times is the tune/pulley upgrade, if that's what you're wondering. And a good set of summer tires.

    More accurate. A stg2 car can't do that for more than 3-4 pulls in the summer on stock cooling with 93 gas

    My experience with stage 2 and stock cooling last summer (stock everything else, just intake), after 4-5 pulls I'd manage 4.5-4.7 to 60 on 93 gas via p3...

    Now with the AMS system, on 93: consistent 3.8-4.1 depending on conditions. I can clip sub 4's all day on race gas. Have yet to lose power due to heat with the new setup + fuel mixtures I'm using (100 octane + e85 works wonders!)

    Car runs like a freaking champ these days. The updated apr tune is just awesome

    That's basically just the cooling system for the supercharger right?

    I've done 3.8 using launch control and the lap timer. Plenty of room for error so take it for what it's worth.

    Power increase? Yes the software and pulley are what's going to produce power.

    In terms of power mods I've done just about all you can do to these cars in my sig.. The bulk of the power comes from tune + pulley though, the rest is to really squeeze every last bit out of the car.

    I've managed a 3.6 on a VOBOX for what it's worth.. Can get below 4 seconds pretty consistently... The digital speedo takes a little time to catch up with the dial..

    Yes. Boost cooler is not necessary nor is it part of the "stage 2+" upgrade. That's just the software and pulley upgrade

    True, maybe not "all day", but you absolutely do not need to a CPS to do 0-60 under 4 seconds for 1-2 launches. If you launch your car more than 5-6 times consecutively then i feel sorry for that mechatronic unit.

    i'm curious to know what you guys are setting for rollout. I picked up a g timer a while back and the first run I did recorded a 3.7x 0-60. It seemed optimistic so I did some searching and set the rollout from 12" to 0" and now best I've ran is 4.3.

    Yep, the only time I really get to make back to back passes are at the drag strip and thats only 2-3 trips a year.. I got those numbers when I did testing for my AMS boost cooler review.

    That said though, these cars can handle stage 2 power well. I know Jones2012s4 drives the shit out of that car and it has been bulletproof for him (over 200 uses of launch control! I haven't even used LC on mine).. Another good example is primetime, only like 7k miles on his 2010 and he's made well over 200 passes at the drag strip without issue. There are plenty of others who have proven you can launch these cars a lot, just look at the 1/4 leaders.. Not saying it's good for the car but if it couldn't handle more than 4-5 launches without breaking no one would go stage 2. Again, not saying do it everyday but it's worth noting you can make many back to back runs without issue at the dragstrip a few times a year if you wanted to

    4 flat with winter tires earlier this year with a GPS lap timer i use on the racetrack. Should be right with some of you guys with summer tires sub 4.

    Old thread bump. I just installed the p3 gauge. 4.3 is what I was able to get after a couple runs. I'm not sure how accurate that gauge is.

    APR Stage 1 / TCU Tune. Did not use launch control.
