looking to purchase a s5 2015 or 2016 can't find any reviews yet on the 16. everything seems the same.

I've had my 2016 S5 Prestige about a month and just noticed that it does NOT have side assist, but it's listed on the sticker for the car. Do any other 2016 S5's NOT have side assist that are supposed to have it?

Mine has it. Did you check the MMI settings? You can adjust the intensity of the lights on the mirror. Maybe yours are turned all the way down?

That would be difficult to do since there are no lights in the side view mirrors and no power button on the drivers' side B&O speaker panel in the front corner of the window. Hence, why I said my car does not have it.

If you don't see this button or the small black window on the mirror housing, you do not have side assist.

You have a prestige 2016? You should definitely have it, or it's a misbuild (which would be kinda shocking).

Premium plus only gets it with the technology package. I have a '16 P+ with tech package and have it.

Yes, I understand all that. I had a 2009 S5 with side assist for nearly seven years before I ordered my 2016 S5. I'm not asking if I should have it, I know I should have it. I'm asking if there are any other 2016 S5's out there that didn't get it.

Oh I know that, and just want to reiterate how crazy it is that you don't have it. Have you brought it up with your dealer? You definitely deserve some sort of compensation. That's not something that can be easily added after the fact. I still cant believe that something like that (with lots of components involved) was overlooked/forgotten.
Mine came with it, and I know of someone else who also has it.

I think the interior is my favorite part of the car!
One comment I've had on the interior from the owner of the shop that did the Xpel and window tint was..."Stunning!"

Pics!! Sounds like an awesome combo with Daytona! Really wanted the chestnut, but felt it would clash with silver exterior.

cool stuff I'm heading to a dealer to check some out not sure what was the diff. i haven't seen much in reviews as of yet. and the new look doesnt come out til 2018 right

Like said before, the car is basically the same. There aren't going to be new "reviews" coming out as the only things that have changed are B&O becoming standard and Nappa leather package getting alcantara door cards.

Yeah, brown Alcantara door cards that I would love to have on my seats! I even told my salesman that I wish I could order brown Alcantara when I ordered my car (not knowing it'd be coming with Alcantara door panels).

That Black/Chestnut Brown interior must really be stunning with Daytona Gray. I had Tuscan Brown in my '11 Daytona Gray S5 Cab and really loved it. I'm sure it was well worth the wait, but the dealer has to take care of you re: the missing side assist. I've never heard of anything like that.

My 2009 S5 had a 200 mph speedo, my 2016 has a 160 mph speedo and 30 mph is about where 60 mph was on my 2009 S5. But my 2016 has Adaptive Cruise Control whereas my 2009 did not. Is this because of the ACC or do all 2016's have a 160 mph vs. 200 mph speedo?
