This sounds like a chip you'd see listed on ebay... obd ahahaha that's the type of port you use to flash. Does it list an any company for the tune?

Many satisfactory reviews my friend. However, I have not tried the other company's tunes but the consensus is those that have can confirm JHM is superior.

Remember, tuning NA cars is a bit trickier than the dime a dozen turbo tuners like APR/GIAC/REVO/etc....

Do u mind if I ask u how much did it cost u? I was reading and it says it works better with the down pipe and etc......now is that a must have? If just going by the chip....what r the gains?

The only thing that's not entirely correct is that you don't need downpipes/catbacks prior to the tune. It does help but if you get the tune first, the tune will adapt if you end up getting the exhaust afterward.

I called the JDM chip site and the guy was honest and said that some people complained and said their engine light came on.....but he didn't specify which cars had that and it's a chip that must be plugged in always in ur obd.....

Anyhow I will look into the one u guys suggested.....thanks for all the help....appreciate it from a noobie audi owner....

Op, don't waste time and money on a "JDM" chip. Those are the biggest shams.

these "chips" falls in the same category as electric fan superchargers, completely useless and potentially dangerous

if you're a noobie , just do lots of reading on here , it's the best way you can learn about your car and possible mods/important stuff

Ivan, do yourself a favor and use the search function on the site. It will help you out tremendously with questions like this. As many others have said, JHM or nothing at all. The JDM chip is nothing but a scam.

I emailed JHM asking them what would their chip give me extra without moding the car yet but have not got a reply yet.....

Any one has JHM with least amount of modifications.....???? Plz give me an idea of gained power......
