Covercraft do a good range to fit the protection needed. Make sure you get one with the nice soft material on the inside. I use mine for a particular place I go which has sap spewing trees over the parking lot, but it isn't very waterproof.

I bought the fleece lined indoor fitted car cover from these guys:

    http://www.coveryourcar.co.uk/store/home.php?cat=469

Superb fitment and although it's only indoor for keeping the dust and sand off the car, it does do that job superbly.

Over time under a car cover does the car ever start to smell bad? (Mildew or something)

Not if the material is breathable, the cheaper covers will do just that though so worth spending that little bit extra if its going to be under a cover for a while.

Peregrine, I'm also in NYC. Where abouts are you located?

Anyways, I'm new to the forum and I'm also interested in any feedback you have on outdoor covers. Hippy, how does your cover fare in snow, ice, rain etc...

Thanks for the link but unfortunately my lot has my baby outdoors . The Audi one looks great but indoors will not suffice.

Well being I am in Atlanta I can't say a whole lot about snow and ice but we did have a 4 day ice storm and it was fine. Rain. Perfectly good.

I just ordered the SuperWeave today. Would have gone with the Superweave premium, but the sales guy said that cover is for warmer climates. Optiondoc, I am in the east village and also just recently joined the forum - my car is a week old.

I've had my car for 2 weeks now haha. Only driven it like 3 times unfortunately. Can you post up the link to the cover you ordered? Also, you going to a winter wheel and tyre combo? Maybe we can get a deal if we buy some together.

Let's meet up, we're practically neighbors and I've never seen another RS in the area.

So I got the Superweave - no way this thing is going to stay on my car without help. I'm slightly disappointed about this because a representative from the company assured me it would stay on as it was form fitted etc. For now I'm using clips and adhering them to the lower front and rear fenders of the car, but I don't want that as a permanent solution as it might damage the paint, etc....

why it wont stay on? as in its too tight ? too loose?

It's not too tight or too loose really, but any large wind gust from under the car will take the thing right up - my concern (other than losing the cover) is having the thing whack against the car damaging the paint. I called the company again, spoke to someone else and he said the first staff member was incorrect - the cover can definitely blow off. But I think I would be hard-pressed to actually find any car cover that will stay on without some kind of help.

lol.. Maybe I should just buy my car a country house. I've seen these things before, not so sure about how my building complex would feel about it given that it would take up all the surrounding parking spots. It is nice though...
