Will VWR springs for a Golf R/S3 work on an A3

Will VWR springs for a Golf R/S3 work on a non sport package A3 Quattro? Looking to get some linear springs and these seam to be the only ones that might work. Neuspeed lists the same model springs for the S3/R and A3 Quattro. However the VWR springs are only listed for the S3/R. The VWR are a more mild drop than the Neuspeed so I don't see why it won't work. Can anyone chime in the matter? Thanks in advance.

At this time the VWR springs will not, I was originally trying to get these springs too. I had the car corner weighted but the A3/S3 have less shock travel vs the MK7/R.

The springs are set to the corner weights for each vehicle. Even a different engine should require different spring settings.

If this was the case, why are the Neuspeed springs the same exact model number for the R/S3 and A3 Quattro?

Oh this is potentially a very good upgrade for those of us who have mag ride. The stock springs leave a lot to be desired to be completely frank. They are too soft and this makes them rather uncomfortable. So if VWR springs fit S3 then I will seriously consider them. I also heard very good things MSS spring kit available for TT for now and might be available for S3s soon. So yeah stock springs are crying for an upgrade.

I agree the front springs are a little to soft, i took a ramp off the highway the other day and you could feel the body roll in the front, to the point it made the car feel a little squirelly. Otherwise i like the driving characteristics of the car. I want something a little stiffer but not crazy.

Was wondering the same thing. I just checked H&R, and they have different part numbers as well. Maybe Neuspeed just want the sales and isn't as discerning as the others.

I can say for certain why. I just know when I was test fitting them with tyrolsport that's what they told me.
