    Painted/Logo Brake Calipers

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hi guys,

Have been seeing some sweet pics of what look like "stock" audi brake calipers that have "quattro", "audi", etc. written on them and are painted.

Can anyone point me to some "stock" or aftermarket A5 calipers that looks nice? I was thinking about getting mine painted red or buying another set that are already painted/logo'ed.

    Thanks!

I didn't get my spray paint from ebay, but you can. I got mine from amazon. the one I got was from duplicolor high heat paint and it was a spray can. you can do the g2 caliper paint, which is a brush on system. those are prob more durable, but im fine with the spray

Doing a little research now, seems the spray might be the way to go even though its more setup work masking off the area.

Just as an FYI, I've had the G2 on my car for over 5 years now. Still looks just as it did day 1. I have seen even proper spray jobs fail after a couple of years.

I did the G2 on my last Audi and couldn't believe how well it held up.

Sweet. How long did it take to get it done? I am thinking of getting it done to the calipers on my S4. Still debating

Please take the time to tape off the clips and round bolt looking thing. It will make for a much cleaner look.

overall took me about 2-3 hours for all 4 for just spraying, u should let it sit for about a day to fully cure

hah, I only painted the clips because I had new ones pending brake install. cant say much about the round bolt, I got lazy or didn't even realize it was there till after spraying
