Mod friendly dealers in Los Angeles?

Anyone know a dealer in/near Los Angeles who doesn't TD1 flag for mods? I know the ECU flash is an automatic TD1 but for other mods like exhaust, coilovers, etc. I called a couple dealers near me and they both said they have a zero tolerance policy for anything done to the car.

I go to old town pasadena all the time. i have an exhaust, intake and other mods. they haven't said anything or am i TD1. When I've gone i just make sure to switch it back to stock through my local tuning shop.

Do you just flash back to stock but leave everything else in (intake, exhaust, etc)?

I haven't had any problems with Audi Pacific in Torrance. When I first bought the car they referred me to a tuning shop.

That's awesome, the dealership I bought my car from is one of the places that said no mods. Maybe I'll try there, thanks.

thanks bizzy i usually deal with Johnny Borja at the service dept. great guy always makes sure car gets done right. haven't had any issues at this location. good luck

A family friend of mine owns the Auto Gallery network so I've only ever gone to them. The SA I typically ask for when I call is Scott, and he has always been very helpful. I would call and be honest about what you have done in regard to bolt ons. I've never had an issue.

Alright thanks, I really want to start modding but losing the warranty always made me nervous. I don't want to pay out of pocket for drivetrain/engine problems lol

I'm thinking the Torrance dealer mentioned by BzzzBom would be best since I plan to get most of my work done at Eurocode, so I could just drop by there before/after I get the service. I do want to know a close dealer though for small work I might need to get done. I'll check them out, thanks.

It's not the worst thing, that's for sure. One time I dropped my car off for service and they said they didn't have a loaner for me. A couple minutes later, my friend came up and the girl behind the desk apologized and gave me a S4 loaner for two days (I only have an A4 mind you, so I was pretty happy). I typically go to their Woodland Hills location, since it's two blocks from my office. But it can be a pain on the weekends, since I'm over on the west side.

Where in LA are you located? That might help determine which dealer you want to frequent.

I'm actually about 10 minutes from downtown LA, near the Silverlake area. I usually go to downtown LA Audi but their customer service is atrocious. Never going back there again.
