RNS-E unlock code software

Has anyone used the repairservice.webs.com software to unlock their rns-e? I recently purchased one and dont have the code and the dealer cant get the code.

Well I finally got the radio unlocked and all is working well. I just need an updated Nav disc because when i try to use the one that I got with the radio i get a message stating "update cd/dvd 0020". going to research it now.

just go to Audi's website and locate the chat interface, ask the representative for your radio code, and if they ask why you don't have it; simply tell them your battery died, and that you didn't have the code when you purchased the car used. You'll need to provide them with your vin number and the auz serial number (sticker on the unit) or it can be identified with vagcom. Wait an hour and they should send you an e-mail with your pin and procedure for unlocking it.

After some research i've come to the conclusion that the radio is running on either sw0150 or sw0200. Because when I hit the car button to check the version it only shows SW:X-- HW:54 MAP:---. If my assumption is correct does anyone know if the version 1A Nav disc should work with either of these s0ftware versions or is there a procedure that has to be done so it stops saying "software update 0020"

Update: The radio was running in Euro mode. I have since then done the EU to US conversion and now all is well.

Does anyone know if the RDS info still scrolls across the cluster display with the RNS-E
