Hey I'm new to the Audi/euro car world.
    I have a 2001 A6 2.7T 6 speed... I was wondering what types of suspension I can use,
What's the best for the dollar & are some parts interchangeable from A4 to A6 ect.

Many suspension components are interchangeable between a variety of models that includes similar year VW's even. If you're thinking OEM then you'll want the parts that are as close to your particular car / engine / trans as possible even though other models parts will fit nobody knows what you'd end up with. Your car is AWD/ Quattro; so you need to make sure you get suspension parts that are for AWD for sure, but NOT Allroad, it has it's own stuff.
Beyond that there were small changes in the 99-2005 C5/A6 chassis parts but almost ANY of it would fit.
Then you get into standard, sport, 4.2, S6 and Rs6 categories.
S6 and Sport suspensions is pretty much the same and just slightly lower than normal V6/A6 stuff. Rs6 is slightly different and might work, but expensive and probably not worth the hassle.
Then there's aftermarket- and alot of it. Air ride, coil overs, lowering springs. Any of it from the C5 line will fit.
Obviously your results will vary depending on your car and mileage etc.. but in the end your budget will determine what you end up with.

    i have a 2002 a6 2.7t 6speed.

I went from the OEM comfort suspension to the red sport struts with RS6 springs. lowered the ride tastefully, and it was within budget. getting the pinch bolt out on the other hand cost me dearly.
