    Seattle Audi Mechanic/Shop Recomendation

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hey Guys,

I just picked up my first Audi, and I plan on using it in the daily driving sense, and not as a hobby car. As such, I'm looking for a competent trustworthy mechanic/shop in Seattle for the regular maintenance stuff. The car is a 2011 A4 Avant, and after dealing in the past with University Audi/VW, I never want to return to them again.

Thanks in advance for the suggestions!

We don't, although there is another local company about 5 minutes from us called Carb Connection which has a 4 wheel dyno.

If you're willing to make the drive to Lynnwood, Performance Motors has never let me down. While not a specialty shop like Achtuning, the manager is awesome and really helpful. Prices are reasonable, too.

Achtuning is great to work with. Had a positive experience with them installing the Alu Kreuz steering brace on my S4.

I also had a good experience with Addict Motorsport Design (AMD) in Woodinville. They do have a dyno and do all kinds of crazy work on Audis.

For regular maintenance stuff I would just pop over to Achtuning. Pretty quick to run across 520. Plus, you can hit Black Raven brewery before or after (if you like beer).

Any other trustworthy shops besides Achtuning and AMD?
Looking to ask for simple installations with parts sourced by me + oil change.

Just my 2 cents, but University Audi in Lynnwood was top notch for me. Fantastic customer service and they took care of me above and beyond. I even had the head tech come out to the car and I spoke to them about ecu tunes and TD1 issues and he was understanding of the aftermarket world and said he doesn't go out of his way to report things like that. Just a cool group.

But if dealerships aren't your thing, I've worked with Achtuning in Redmond on my previous S4 build and they are a group of great guys as well..

^+1 for Audi Lynnwood - taken all of my Audi's there and they've been great to work with. Accidentally cracked my dash trim when swapping out the MMI screen/motor in my old A6 and they profusely apologized and worked with my schedule to get me right back in to replace it. They've also done MMI firmware updates for me for no charge (under warranty tho). Shout out to Sally @ Audi Lynnwood! She runs VINs for me when I was car shopping too - good people there.

^^ funny.. I called in w/ my Vin number before I purchased and Sally was the one that hooked it up. Her attitude was the reason I brought the car in to have it serviced at their location. C.J also deserves a round of applause., she was great to work with and went out of her way to help.
