B7 Front Lip and Side Skirt Picture Thread

Well with the resurgence of Relak skirts, the availability of CSR skirts, etc. I think there are enough cars out there rocking side skirts and front lips that we can make a PICTURE thread for it.

Lets establish some rules for people to ignore and post whatever they want:

1. Post pictures of your car, multiple if available, showing the side skirts and front lip. Don't post other people's cars.
2. List the maker of the lip, side skirts and what door blades you are running, as well as material (CF/FRP)
3. If you just have a cupra lip and nothing else don't bother posting everyone knows what that looks like
4. Keep it to B7's, if that isn't obvious

Again, we want to make this a good place for someone to come in and get an idea of the art of the possible when it comes to those finishing exterior pieces for our cars. Lets keep it picture/content heavy.

That was the plan... he was going to take the skirts and remake them in carbon fiber, but then i decided to be the idiot and try to sell the car. Sold the skirts, and now my car is probably staying with me

I love that lip though, I found an old thread that sounded like the guy that made it was going to sell them, u know if that ever happened? Ps I have a set of relak skirts not sure if I'm going to be using them for sure yet, I'll let u know if I dont

Pm me if your going to be selling them I may be interested. Hoping to get a tune first though. As far as I know it's still in the works, just takes some time I guess. I'll see him tonight I'll try to get some more info.

I am looking for a honeycomb grill for my 2007 S4 avant, and wondered where you got yours supplied from. I am looking for one with black gloss surround if possible. Also, wanted to know if you need to carry out any hard ware modifications or will it fit existing space/fastenings ?

You would have to buy an OEM RS4 grille. There are no aftermarket versions, and they aren't cheap. Nor will you really be able to shop around because everyone sells them for the same price, unless you manage to find a used one. Check out www.ecstuning.com for the different versions.

How'd you guys install the relaks? I've got a set laying around and the adhesive that came with it doesn't seem too convincing

Super glue.

they came with 1-1/4" long screws that replace the ones that hold the factory skirt on. The holes in your relaks line up with them

Yeah don't use the adhesive. Some washers and 1 1/4" screws (I used wood screws) will do the trick. Tape alone will leave you very sad and relak side-skirtless.

it's probably time to move on and forget about it before you lose your passion in your hobby.

back on topic. my pics will come next week. been out of the country and all over the place so only 3 days ago i finally got around to dropping the skirts at the wrap shop. Installation is planned for Sunday!

product reviews aside, it looks cheap to me.. like making racing stripes out of electrical tape.

Racing stripes out of electric tape is a genius idea. You never know when you'll need to strap a bumper back on

I found a set of DTM sideskirts locally but wondering if I'll have to find flat door blades or if I could keep the S4 door blades and it wont look crazy
