Can you customize the car you're leasing?

I've never leased a car before.

Can you customize the car you get from Audi? How does that work, it just increases your monthly payments? Are there options they wont order in case they have to sell the car at the end of the lease?

Yes, you can absolutely order a car and lease it just like you would if you were going to purchase the car. Price will increase with options added. You can order it, do EU delivery and whatever else you'd like. Frankly, Audi leases aren't great. BMW is FAR more aggressive but the dealership will run numbers for both for you. Admittedly, I purchased my S4 but I want to go back to leasing after this. I like the idea of not owning the car and doing something different every few years.

If you want to modify, talk directly with the dealership/service advisor/techs at your "home dealership."

Most will allow general bolt-ons that are reversible (exhaust, intake, wheels, coilovers). Few will allow chips or pulleys.

by "customize" do you mean simply choosing regular options yourself or going through the "Audi Exclusive" program (special colours, interiors, trims) ?

    http://www.audiusa.com/technology/design/Audi-exclusive

Anyways the answer would be yes to the first and "probably" to the second though I can't say for sure

Audi Exclusive. I would like Rivera Blue with their yellow leather. And I think I want to lease my next car, as opposed to buying. Im doing about 9700 miles per year, and I don't want to mod - so leasing seems like the best option.

THAT combo though, would be practically unsellable.

I have modded like crazy but in my case my lease car was purchased with a sizable down payment and every intention of either a. Buying the car out at the end of the lease or b. having enough money that I dont care ! So I have slapped on just about every mod my little heart desires as far as go fast and look good mods without a care in the world.

Here's the deal. Go to the dealership, tell them exactly what you want (ignore the salesperson attempting to look away or pretending not to have heard you correctly) and then tell them you want to lease the car. Selling the car at the back end is AoA's problem. You can absolutely lease a custom car. Honestly though man, Audi leases suck and you're going to get clobbered on the numbers for going off the reservation with options. If you can afford it and you like it, do it. It's your car and you must enjoy it. Follow up with us here so we can see this thing in color. Best of luck, take care.

It's called Calendula yellow. You can get it in Nappa, Alcantara, AND Valcona.

I may not be able to get it two tone.

    I also like the Cognac:

Jesus! I love that bruised banana color! Only on the interior, and it has to be 2 toned, my magma/black has spoiled me! What exterior color goes with that interior?

Enough rambling. You can order anything, my salesman even said I could get Lamborghini Lime. But as a previous poster said, the down payment will have to be substantial, they don't want to be stuck with your crappy tastes.

Now back to bruised banana, damn that is hot.

I'm leasing and have EPL stage 2, springs, intake, a few other little things and planning on doing an exhaust soon - maybe custom then swap it out for a stock one when I trade her back in. I have a good relationship with the service manager at my dealership though so they treat me well and look the other way. This is my 2nd s4, first was CPO that i purchased, this one I leased new - same monthly payment just put a few thousand down. worth it in my opinion.
