Temporary driver seat cover - gym rats?

I have spent a lot of my early mornings at the YMCA recently. I have suede seats. Aside from bringing a clean down and draping it over the seat- has anyone found or used in the past some sort of nylon, vinyl or similar material seat cover that will hold to the seat and not let my sting sink in? Preferably black. I look like a nut job getting into my car- but I'm not going to make it stinky!

Does it hold around the head rest at all? I was hoping that someone had one that had a whole in it to keep it up top.

Yup. It has a adjustable strap that fits around the headrest. Fits the S4 seats perfectly. And has a rubber backing that prevents it from slipping on the seat. I'll send a pic in a min. I'm going to my car now.

Neat products for sure. I've wrestled with this issue, my solution is simpler: I change into dry clothes before leaving the gym. I'm afraid that I'd stink up my car even with the seat cover.

i have the panda interior and the white part gets dirty easily, so when i need to, i just use the seat cover that came with the car from transport and when the car was PDI'd.

kinda hard to see, but here it is when i PDI'd it myself. you can see the seat covers still on there.

I just use a beach towel, keep it in my trunk

all I did was have my buddy at the dealership give me a hadnful of those plastic covers they use when doing service. Top part wrape around headrest and it drapes across the seat. Use it everytime I come out of the gym. Cheap and easy.

Thanks for this thread... been looking for something for my passenger seat for my dog, as I too have the Panda guts, but at $33 I'll probably buy 2 so I can have one for me when I go hiking and the such, just in case.

I usually just change after my workout :-) the seat covers could definitely come in handy for other use though!

Mike P - I've got something like this for the dogs.. Though they can't enjoy the front seat it works wonders and keeps it easy to clean up if they drag any dirt, sand, water, etc in.

Yeah the Happy Seat is great. Way better than just a towel. Doesn't slip down all the time. Great product.

Anyone that can speak to the "molting" that a few of the reviews mention? I need something like this (I play basketball and volleyball fairly frequently), but I definitely don't want something falling apart onto my seats that's going to be a pain to clean up too.

I bought the "Happy Seat" cover... seems like good quality for the dollar. Fit well, don't slide around... if I notice it the rubber backing starting to break down from use I'll toss it and get another... I'm sure that will take tons of use and wash cycles to get there... not using a dryer may help the rubber not dry out also... I'm not too worried about it though- it's a disposable item IMO.

I've used beach towels... they slide around and never say up on the back... half ass solution IMO

This. I flip it around me like a cape grabbing the corners around my neck/shoulders and then simply sit down. I only have a 10 minute ride home if that and it works perfectly with ZERO chance of damaging my seat. I like a couple that I've seen on Amazon but the backings can ruin seats and some shed fibers, etc.....no thanks. A towel works just fine.

Haha I had my mom make 2 of these for me. It slips over the back and stays put. If you know someone who sews, tell them to make one from a large beach towel...

Order two of the "Happy Seats" and they are a great product. Fit well, no sliding around, and much better than a towel. Highly recommend letting them air dry after washing them and also not leaving them set up on your seat on a hot day. It is very hot here in FL and I set up the "Happy Seat" when I got to the gym and when I got back to the car the rubber backing was sticking to the seat. Now I leave it in the trunk and set it up when I leave the gym.
