Post FCP Euro - What brake pads do you prefer?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Everyone, we’re having supply issues with Akebono brake pads, they’ve been a great option for years but we’re looking at expanding our ceramic brake pad offering.

What kind of ceramic pads do you want us to carry? Right now we’re thinking something along the lines of Brembo, StopTech, Hawk, or Cool Carbon.

    Any thoughts or other ideas?

    Dave

I'm really liking the Power Stop Z17 Evolution ceramic pads for my 17Z calipers, they also make them for the HP2 calipers. Bummer about the Akebono pads, wish they made them for 17z calipers.

I'm not too familiar with that brand.. I'll have to look into that one.

Maybe not a crazy high performance pad but myself and a few friends have been running Centric Posi Quiet Ceramic (Begin with 105. part number) and couldn't be happier. Hardly any dust ever, quiet and have a nice feel/bite and a great price. I buy all my parts from you guys, so it would be cool if you offered these.

Are we talking about stock sized pads for HP2s, 17/18Zs, or aftermarket calipers?
