Front Center Air conditioner vent not working

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
So recently I went on a road trip and I used my air conditioning and noticed that air was not coming out of my center air conditioning vent. I normally do not have my A/C on because I just roll my windows down so I have no idea how long it has been this way. I can feel that air is trying to come through the vent but something is blocking its path. Does anyone know any idea of what might be happening or tell me how to take off my dashboard so I could get a better look at it would be fantastic. Thank you!

Just pull on the trim around the vents. It pops out with both vents in place

It could be the flap adjustment motor starting to go. Mine started to make a clicking noise and wouldnt open all the way on the center vent which only allowed a little bit of air to struggle through. All my other vents worked worked too which isolated it to that flap and not the AC itself. Its part #8E1820511K if you want to look into it more

Mine keeps facing upward towards the ceiling.

    Anyone ever have that problem?

Everytime I try to center it, it points back up. I've seen someone post something up about this but I can't find the post.

Mine only works on the Top & Center vents. No airflow to Lower foot vent.
