    In-Depth review 2016 A6

So I have had the car for about 45 days and I thought to give a little review of what I have felt/found in the 2016 compared to the 2013 I had before.
Power - the 2016 is rated at 333hp vs 310hp on the 2013 - the biggest improvement I feel is that the power delivery feels a lot smoother and linear. 23hp maybe very tiny but it seems significant when you drive the facelift vs the pre. The rough shifts on lower gears is still an issue - it should go away with the 034 MS mounts.
Steering feel/response - Its vastly improved over the pre-facelift . It might be due to the change in the drivetrain stabilizer but the car is much precise in turns, understeer is substantially reduced and the steering feels more connected.
MMI - now we are talking! The 4g lte is a very welcome feature along with the faster processor. The various systems don't take 10 days to load up now once the car is started up. Couple of things that annoy me - the send to car feature feeds address/other info in a very weird fashion now which was not the case with my 2013 ; I have to enter my PIN everytime I have to find a destination that I stored in MyAudi account . But overall the improvement is very significant - I am able to respond to texts/emails right through the MMI, map is displayed on the DIS (awesome!).
Stereo system - I still have the Bose system. It might be placebo but it seems a little more balanced now.
Headlights - the brightness has improved compared to the 2013 but TBH I love how the pre-facelift lights looked. I love the 2016 but I do wish the DRL was a strip of multiple LED's (like in the 2016 A7/S7) rather than a light tube.
Tail lamps - beautiful! Another aesthetic improvement. If we could get the euro style :P (the wants never end) .
The cupholders have been improved - it doesn't really make much of a difference to me since all I need to put in them is a bottle of water. But its nice to be able to get the bottle in and out without a struggle.
Automatic engine start-stop system - utter retrogression in 2016 - It was much much better on my 2013. In the 2016 , the system kicks in just about anytime and every time that the brake pedal is depressed when the car is very slow. On my 2013, it would only kick in when the car actually stopped for a second or greater.
Fuel Economy - irrelevant to the most of us - it seems unchanged to me. I am still averaging the same as I was in the 2013.
Overall there has been quite a lot of improvement. The in cabin noise is also a little better , the ride quality is improved. I can only imagine what a tune would do to the already improved powertrain . Time shall tell!

Nice write up - It's frustrating how long the computer system takes to "boot up" in my 13'. Would agree that the pre-facelift headlights look better but other than that the facelifted models are sexxxxyyy

I've seen a couple 16's lately and I have to agree on the headlights. I love my headlights, I think they look more aggressive than the facelift. I do wish I had the upgraded MMI though, mainly because it's supposed to get Apple carplay/Android Auto/\.
