What brand and type of motor oil do you use for 3.0T?
I have been using Castrol EDGE 10W-30 SPT Synthetic Motor Oil to top off when engine oil is low.

    Fuchs Oils. Swear by them.

Motul is great too, but for our temperatures I've found Fuchs 5W50 runs great on the 3.0L Supercharged Q7.

I don't believe in their 15,000Kms service intervals, I tend to swap the oil out in all my vehicles after 7,500Kms or so.

I believe the environment is a massive differentiating factor for the fluids.

I've always used Amsoil 5w40 fully synthetic. A little expensive but worth it. I seems to always be at or near the top of every independent oil test that I've read.
