Florett Silver and Flint Grey-A6

Looking to order a 2016 A6 Prestige with driver assist and cold weather package. The only car in that's available with specs I want is Florett Silver with Flint Grey interior. Not my first choice (that would be tornado grey, w/ black and standard headliner) but think I could live with it and grow to love it. I could do custom order but really don't want to wait 2-3 months for the car.



What are opinions on this combo? Anyone have it or have any pics they could share?

I would go with a black interior as well; it will be a good contrast with the silver exterior. My prior Audi had a grey interior, and I was beyond tired of it by the time I traded it in.

Kinda drab, actually. Look, you're paying good money for the A6, and unless time is of the essence, would not compromise but instead wait for the exact combination you want. I almost compromised in my A6 search, and am glad I held out to be sure of what I wanted - both color combination and packages.

I dont think I can actually drive a car for a long time with white/grey/beige interiors. @fuzzydice - no offense man. Those interiors just look boring and too bright to me. Black looks a little classy.

I had the silver headliner in my A6 and hated it enough that I passed on some very nice S6's to get one with the black headliner. Coming from S4's where the default was black headliner, it bothered me every time I got in the car. Do it right the first time and order the combo you want. $90k is a lot of coin to just settle.

On a side note- there is one tornado grey with everything you need in Houston.

They can do it. Its all about how your dealer wants to work with you. They call up the Houston dealer and set up a trade. Another way to do it is you call up the Houston dealer, strike a good deal and they ship it to you!

I guess I'm bucking the convention here but I love the combination. In fact, my 2016 S7 will be those exact colors with Comfort Seating. Florette Silver Metallic (on the S7) is a beautiful color and the Flint Grey seats combined with the Black dash with wood accents (other trim is also nice but I happen to prefer wood) is a perfect statement for me. If it bores other owners, I don't really care, they should get what they want. I have had light colored interiors in most of my cars. All this is very subjective and people don't all like the same things as you probably know already. The question is do you like it or are you trying to be convinced to like it? You should get what you like. If you feel no emotion or negatiive emotion when you think of it you will probably not be happy with your decision in the long run.

The s-line body looks much better . With a light color- the black optics make the car look aggressive but the aluminum trim makes the car look a little classy. Personal choice again

Long term I think I'll be happiest going with black interior. Thought maybe I could be convinced the grey was a good option but you guys have made it pretty easy for me to go with my gut and hold out for the black.

I also think that certain interiors work better with certain models. In my A4, I did not think that black looked right; however, the first time I test drove the A6 (which, by the way was Silver w/black) knew without a doubt that I wanted the black interior - it just suited the car perfectly.

Interesting , that's the same feeling I got when I test drove an S7 Floret Silver w/Flint grey/Black accents (ebony/alum - but I wasn't feeling that - to techno) - It just felt right to me and also suited the car perfectly. Aesthetics are subjective for sure :)

2016 A6's are rolling in to the dealers now. In 2 or 3 weeks one might have what your looking for.
They can also dealer trade to get what you want.

just placed a factory order for '16 A6 prestige with driver assist and cold weather in Tornado and black. Got a nice deal from Huntington Audi.
So now the wait begins.
