Depends on how hot it gets where you live. I love the sport seats but ventilation has become a must for me. It gets crazy hot in TX and I need that air on my back&butt when I am all sweaty coming from the gym.

Told you- get the seat ventilation checked out . Btw the ventilation on the 2016's is a step further. You hit the button and the cool air starts blowing immediately and its pretty strong.

Yah, I live in Texas too and seat comfort is a must. However, the seats in my s4 were great.

Man I love the sport seats- beatiful and very functional. I wish they came ventilated. If you dont get in the car all sweaty and stuff I would say get the sport seats. I have gotten ceramic tints done that are doing great at blocking heat so the car isnt that hot even after sitting in the sun.

To me, sport no question. I have ventilated seats in my Denali so I do appreciate their functionality, but IMO there's too much design, aesthetic, and support sacrificed with the comfort seats.

No competition. I'd get the Sport even if I lived in Bangkok humidity and heat.

Sport looks sexy, but the Comfort feels sexy.

What else is gonna blow gently across your grundle while administering various massages on a hot, sweaty day?

    Nothing.

Sport looks better, a lot better. It has that "Wow this car is special" when someone steps inside. That is lost to a notable degree with the comfort seats.

    Other points besides the look:
    1) Sport seats are extremely comfortable
    2) Comfort seats have ventilation, but honestly this is just a fan that is blowing against you, it is not air that has been processed through the air conditioning system. I don't know why but the Germans don't seem to get this. The Japanese (Infiniti and Lexus) use air conditioned air and pump it into the seat and it works well. My dad's 2006 M35 with cooled seats works great. BMWs I've been in with ventilated seats are just blowing hot and humid air into your back.

I can't speak to the massage quality, but I'm not expecting it to be an incredible shiatsu experience or anything.

i wouldn't have bought the car if it came with comfort seats. also, the ventilated seats don't even work that well in the audi's compared to other cars ive been in. there was an rs5 sitting in the showroom at my dealer that my guy was desperate to sell and was going to give me a great deal on it. I considered it and once I opened the car and saw it had comfort seats option in there, that was the deal breaker for me.

also if this is 2016 - you get black exhaust tips, louder exhaust, sport diff....all in all a good buy

We are talking about the Sport package with sports diff, exhaust, etc., correct. I opted for regular seats vs the comfort package because the regular seats looked better and felt more comfortable, but it's an even bigger no brainer for me if we're talking about the sports package.

My wife's Lexus has ventilated seat and they feel good in Florida but the sports seats look sooo good, I don't mine that they are not ventilated. Everyone that looks inside my car raves about the seats.

The sport package with the new exhaust and diff make that option a no-brainer in my opinion. The seats, as you'll see in several other threads here, will always be a matter of personal feel/taste. Personally, I LOVE the look and feel of the sport seats!

Moosehead makes a lot of sense. Ventilated seats keep the mushroom bloom and guacamole accumulation to a minimum from May through September in Tennessee. Well worth it.

Your comments always crack me up!! I guess I'll chalk this up to another reason I don't live in Tennessee...warm, comfortable Pac NW summers.

That's why I make a point of spending at least a week in Portland/Cannon Beach/Willamette in July. Tennessee rocks.

Who am I to judge? If someone prefers form over swamp-ass, that is certainly their prerogative.

I had to deal with the same choice, Sport or Comfort. I chose comfort for 2 reasons... 1.) Ventelation, wish it ran through the AC system, but the cooling was a huge perk for me. 2.) Massage function is really nice after golf or really long drives :). I wish these two options were avalialbe in the Sport. I had the high bolster seats in my TT and overtime the leather gets all scratched up with jeans, etc. Plus the comfort seats can be adjusted with all of the air bladders to provide that "planted" feel. The quilting of the sport seats and logo in the back rest area though are missed for sure. Mine are black and still have the silver alternate stitching.

    My opinion only:

Seat to Seat: I think the diamond stitching is way to busy looking in an S6, like wearing a plaid shirt with a suit. I like it in an RS7. The comfort seats have a cleaner look AND they massage you and blow cool air on you and heat up when its cold. I love my comfort seats, both look and feel. Now if you add in suspension differences, I don't know
