    Is the 710P the latest 710N?

    Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    I just tried to order a set of 710N diverter valves from
    genuineaudiparts.com and was told:

    06A-145-710-N is not available and has been superseded to 06A-145-710-P"

    So is the 710P the same or better than the 710N or should I cancel this order and find some 710N's elsewhere? Also, is there an aftermarket 710N that works well or is this a "stick with OEM" kind of part?

    edit: can an admin please change the title to read, "Is the 710P the latest 710N?"

    From what I understand the original 710P was for the C5 RS6 (4.2tt).

    I plan to order set of 710p DVs for my car.

    710P is the 710N replacement. You can't get 710N anymore unless it is old stock from somewhere.

    710P = Bosch 0 280 142 114 probably much cheaper than OE. (I get it for ~$22 each).

    Bosch is out of making these, they sold the factory and rights to make these DVs to "Kaiser". All 710P DVs are bearing KAiser name now.

    So the Kaiser-made 710N's are just as reliable / the same as the OE ones?

    Is the 710N the latest 710N?

    Just purchased 710p DVs from the dealer. They are made by Kaiser, and have the Kaiser vendor code. Fyi.
