Question: Is passenger side engine mount the same as driver side?

    Hello everyone,

I am in the process of changing out the ECS tuning motor mounts that I bought a couple of weeks ago (gf does not appreciate the added vibration).

I am looking at some aftermarket OEM replacements and most places that I searched has only either driver side or passenger side.

So my question is are driver and passenger interchangeable? Can I put two passenger side mounts or two driver side mounts? They look identical but has a different part #

    I have a 2007 2.0t 6mt avant.

Any input is appreciated. Thank you

Yes, both sides are physically the same, although there might be different part numbers for them.

If you're looking for a decent performance upgrade without any added NVH, I highly recommend our Street Density B7 Audi A4 2.0T FSI Engine Mount Upgrade. Since they are made from high-durometer rubber instead of polyurethane, they are better able to act as a damping medium for the application, and last much longer than polyurethane, which packs and wears over time.

I've run them in my B7 Audi A4 2.0TQM since 2009, and couldn't be happier!
