GIAC Stage II S4 vs Dodge Charger Hellcat

In process of getting all the videos together. S4 is a monster right now, have some one off parts currently testing.

2 races from a stop, both races went well and as expected, S4 got the win to the quarter mile and the hellcat slowly started reeling the S4 in. S4 was running the race file with methanol spraying.

Exactly what other people said. The only good comment is that it looked exactly the way it should go. Would be interesting to see you heads up at a track in the 1/4 and see if the hell cat can catch you top end. You would have to get a killer jump off the line and see what happens. Would be a very good race.

The hellcats can trap 125-126mph and run 10s with just drag radials but if they don't have traction then all hail the mighty quattro. We can definitely take out some higher powered cars due to this. Nice runs.

that's impressive. from this video and others, it seems like the hellcat remains very strong in the 1/4 mile+ range. Seems the hellcat is even more impressive with a bit more distance.

Exactly, street cars the S4 is a monster. You starting getting over 120+mph and weight and traction are no longer an issue then 707hp is all that matters.

Hellcat weighs approx 4600lbs with out driver

My S4 as weighed on corner balance scales was 3920 with half tank of gas an no driver.

Exactly, considering the lowly S4 starts at 333hp 3.0 V6 I think our car is doing just fine for the type of car it was designed to be.

it's nice and I will check one out, but AWD is not coming if at all until the facelift in 3-4 years is what it's looking like.

That is not true at all. On race prepped surfaces, a good driver with a RWD car can cut 1.7 1.8 60 ft's and be right there with you.

A more accurate statement is, it is much harder to launch a RWD to its maximum potential.
