It arrived in about 9 days total from the date of ordering/payment.
In my case the cupholder part that slides in and out had come off completely, so I basically had a hole inside the armrest when the flap was opened. If someone knows how to remove the sliding part on purpose, you are welcome to add that information. Having it out made the job a lot easier.
While there are just 2 metal tabs on the replacement part on either end that seem to be responsible for locking it in place, I quickly found out that the assembly was locking into the armrest in more places and sits quite snugly in there. Your best bet is to get a screw-driver and some protective tape/cloth to prevent scratches to the trim material. After fiddling with the tabs for a while, I just went at it with the screwdriver and broke up the black plastic on the inside. First, the flap came off and then the rest of assembly got my attention. In my case, it was easy to tell which plastic sections needed to be broken up and which needed to be left alone since my interior is beige and so was all the plastic of the armrest that surrounded the black plastic cup-holder assembly. I suspect this will be a little tricky for cars with black interior.
If you notice in the ebay picture, the top surface of the assembly is metal. The rest of it is almost all plastic. After breaking down the plastic part to small pieces on the inside, I wiggled the top edge of the metal plate to pull it out. I then used a vacuum to suck out the broken plastic pieces.
Once this is done, you can just slide in the new assembly and it will lock in place. You will need to use some pressure to get it in there, so don't be afraid to use some force. The process from start to finish took me about 30 minutes. If I had to do it again, I would be a little more careful and slow to not scratch up the interior armrest plastic while wedging the screwdriver in there.
