Check out Armitrix, they do both stainless and unobtanium. Sounds like a wounded bull, in heat, fighting for the best lookin heifer in the fields.

You can likely go either with quads and new valance or just single tips same valance. There were a few S6 valances for sale in the Classifieds or elsewhere on the board as guys switched out for the Defal aftermarket carbon fiber version.

Thanks man! I will take a look at Armitrix! I just don't want that raspy sound.

Hard to avoid raspy with the supercharger and/or turbo, but here's the A:

Check out AWE, others for a bit more mild. YMMV.

Don't forget to consider the new AWE exhaust which im sure can be fitted with quad tips. I think only one person on the forums has reported feedback on it...

You don't see too many quad tips because it's a bit of an expense to pull it off. If you have a Prestige or S-Line package A6, then I believe the S6 rear valence can be transplanted to your car. If you don't have the aforementioned packages, then you'll need the valence and bumper. That starts getting pricey. I believe at least one person here was able to modify (cut) his rear valence to pull it off. Best sounding is too subjective an issue for you to get any meaningful responses. Price would also be a factor. AWE has their exhaust out now, and I suspect Milltek has something available. Best bet is to get on your regional forum and try and track someone down so you can hear them both. I did the resonator delete mod on my S6 and I'm pleased with the results for the price paid. That said, the sound from the same mod on the A6 could potentially be a drone nightmare. Again, find someone who has done that near you to see if that might work. Pretty sure Magnaflow may have an exhaust as well and the price is usually substantially less than Milltek or AWE.

My friend auditude"Pete:" not sure if you know him but he had awe on his S4 3.0T and it sounds very exotic! I was thinking to go that route once i bag the car. Will see, I don't know a lot about these cars but they look amazing.

Go With Armytrix. Has a raspy but deep grunt to it. Very hard not to like with the valves open

I'm looking for the same for a a7 and have came to the conclusion of either armytrix or awe quad... Both of which are expensive.

I think I prefer the awe from the one vid I can find online of the quad tips. I don't like the rasp of the armytrix and the fact it costs more puts me off.

I need more vids before making a decision though as I always wanted a valved system and don't think the ipe one is for me either.

Just checked the Armytrix exhaust.....totally awesome sound.....and a ridiculous price to match it. Makes the AWE option seem like a wise financial decision.
