Good morning everyone,
I'm extremely excited! Today, I was given notification that my dealership has "put-in" the build order for my new car. Pricing is not out yet for the 2016. But, if the 2015 S6 (prestige) to 2016 S6 (prestige) is any indication, then pricing should remain "about the same" for the S4 or "+/-1%." With the dip in the Euro, I wouldn't be surprised if the 2016 car actually costs less than last years model!

Daytona Grey Pearl
Black Alcantara Seating with black leather bolsters
Titanium/Black Optic Package with 19" wheels (Rotors are no longer available for North American market S4s, Germany only, darn)
Tech Package (Dealer has stated that B&O is now standard with the Tech Package, if not, B&O will be added)
Sport Diff
Winter mats + rubber trunk mat
Supercharged Badges
No-front plate (I'll buy that garbage later or pay the sexy tax)

Delivery should take 3-4 months they say. I hope not to sound like a broken record. But, I'm excited! Now, if August could only get here sooner!

I bought my car off the lot and ended up with exactly what I wanted. I also have the black Alcantara seats and think the only thing I might have changed on the car is ordering the magma/black nappa seats, because they look awesome in person.

Pricing is not yet available on the 2016. But, we all figure it will be +/-1% with my money betting on no change (due to drop in currency exchange rate).

Audi makes more money on export sales now than they did even 6 months ago due to the tanking of the Euro,

Not sure about the 2016's being cheaper than 2015. Montreal dealers are offering 1.9% on financing/leasing on 2015's. 2016's won't be getting that deal.

I can't imagine much will change on the 2016 model, since it will probably be the last one of this model run, just more expensive for a few cosmetic changes...

Kinda wanted a 6 speed, but the deal was just too good to pass up, and with traffic being what it is...

I had 9 months left on my current Avant A4 and they ate it. I plan on keeping this S4 for max 3 years, hopefully the new B9 S4 will be out by then. BTW, the service manager at the dealer (family friend) told me that future S4s will still be available in 6Speed, but only on special orders. 85% of the S4s they sell are S Tronic.

Already bought my first "modification." Beings that I'm currently on expat assignment, I was surfing around on ebay.de and found a fully loaded set of Ecodes (complete with housings, bulbs, controllers, and internal wiring harnesses).

I'll have them shipped to my German address. All-in for 670 EUR (including freight). Hell of a deal! When my company sends my personal effects container back to the U.S., I'll throw these in. Maybe one of the cheapest set of "fully-loaded Ecodes" ever?

I think I saw that one in the order bank back in February when I ordered mine. Car was on the same ship as mine (should be at dealer next week). I'm just curious which dealer you went to. Can you PM me the info if possible? I went with DDO dealer who I bought my other Audis from. THanks,

I'm a newb so I didn't know what e-codes were until just now.

Don't really care about the amber being in there or not but the wider beam pattern is certainly helpful. I always wish the beams were wider when driving at night on my favorite back hill road.

Congrats and thanks for helping keep the 6MTs alive! Waiting is not easy. Great idea getting the ecodes while in Germany, you should think about other possibilities while there.

Thanks Guys! This afternoon (North American Time), I will be speaking with the dealership manager about the European Delivery Program. There are lots of great incentives with this program :

Right? I got the housings, controllers, bulbs, and harnesses for 670 EUR. They are "new" fully loaded headlights as well. New housings alone cost ~$1500 in the US.

It's amazing how "cheap" these can be had on the used market in Germany. I won the auction for mine at 510 Euro shipped to me in Pennsylvania. Now, he shipped them via DHL Worldpaket which took 6 weeks and flat out disappeared from the tracking system for 5 of those weeks, and then when I finally received them I discovered some (easily repairable) shipping damage, and somehow the headlights had cobwebs inside of them which required disassembly of the housings to vacuum them out.....but still, 510 EUR and a Sunday afternoon of labor for complete functional ecodes sure beats the alternative.

The problems I've found with European Delivery is that the 5% is not on top of a supplier discount that gets you 6% and then you have to buy the car before you go over there. That means if you have a trade then you have to trade in your car and then do ED and then drop your car off and wait 4-6 weeks while it arrives. Any damages that occur after you take delivery and it goes back on the ship are on you through your own insurance company and sometimes you can get Audi to make a payment while you don't have the car but others haven't been so lucky.

i got mine brand new.. all the hardware (housings, controllers, bulbs, and harnesses) for $900 USD from ebay.de .. they were so new they even came with the undertray

That plate mount is pretty sweet. I installed my not to long ago and it is very sturdy.
