Upon checking, seems like Bosch Part No. 8101 Double Platinum is the OEM plug.

On my 1996 Audi A6, I went with the Bosch, and had two sets of ignition coils go as a result. The NGKs matched the OEM part numbers, and looked exactly the same as the OEMs minus the audi/vw branding. I've had absolutely no problems with those. But my engine was the older 12v 2.8 V6 so this probably wouldn't apply to your car I think.

I'll be going with the NGK, since the gap is appropriately preset for my make and model.

NGK oem copper plugs are the way to go with a turbo car... The coil packs are known weak points and the turbos have the propensity to "blow out the flame" causing missing ect. The copper plugs don't last long but they are right while they are there and damn $10 per plug or whatever... $2.00 each change mine every two oil changes.

I'll be going with the NGK, since the gap is appropriately preset for
ADVISORY!!!! Always check the gap on plugs before using them!

Thanks for the advice, definitely should check the gap on the plugs before using them, in spite of the manufacturer presetting them.

NGK coppers here too. Gotta change them more often but that's not hard on our cars and coppers produce a better spark.
