    RS7 all weather floor mats

    Hello all...

New member here. I've been reading through many posts and feel this is a great forum.

I'm awaiting the arrival of my 2016 RS7, and I have a question about all weather mats. I contacted my dealer about whether the mats would be the same for 2016 as they are for 2015 as well as their availability. The parts advisor told me that front all weather mats don't exist for 2015 but rear ones do and are available. I don't understand how it's possible that they haven't made front mats, but I didn't spend much time going back and forth with him. Many of you rave about Weathertech mats, but I wasn't a fan of the ones I purchased for my wife's car (not an Audi). I had OEM rubber mats in an R8 and thought they were perfect, so I'm interested in Audi mats if possible.

Can anybody provide any insight? Thank you in advance.

Your SA is right that Audi doesn't make front rubber mats specifically to RS7 because they make only A7 front rubber mats that fit all in the 7's. Yes, with the A7 logo imprinted to the mats too. The rear mats are different because they don't have logo so the same rear mats for A7 would be a direct fit accessory for RS7 as well.

Now you have 2 choices; get OEM A7 front mats or some nice after market such as Weathertech. I use OEM because they came with the car and at the end of the day even with A7 logo they still serve their purpose. They had bugged me in the first few weeks but I forgot about that A7 logo soon enough.

Yes, it's true. Audi puts NO effort into floor mats for RS models. Basically options are A7 mats or aftermarket. Go figure. I have the A7 all weather ones with trunk liner and they work just fine. Would be nice to have a sweet RS logo on them in OEM style...but alas, not important enough for Audi to do it i guess. And I personally dislike very much those weathertech mats, had them on a previous vehicle and swore i would never buy again.

CocoMats. So much nicer than rubber mats. They wear like iron. They have a heavy rubber base under the coco fibers, all that little debris that builds up on regular mats falls through and is not seen. Take them out every once in a while, turn them over and shake. Clean mats. The rubber catches water/snow, as well. http://www.cocomats.com

    Hi, guys.

I wonder if there are any news on rubber mats for RS7.
Maybe someone jumped on the opportunity to make those.
    Any new alternatives?

My friends 16 s7 came with a7 front all weather mats. I have weather tech for my s6. Factory all weather do not come up the sides at all and run all the melting slush/snow right into the carpets. Especially the drivers side.

Agreed, I bought these for my RS7, plus the trunk liner. Perfect fit, great protection and not so bad looking.
