Best tuning for B5S4

I have a 01 Audi S4 with rs4 turbos, injectors, and fuel pump and am looking to to get it retuned once I put water meth on it. Looking for the best tuning for them. Opinions on what water meth system to put on are welcome too.

In my opinion the new bread of custom timers are the best. There are a few standouts but I don't want to pimp any particular one. I am fully tuned by Jared @ vlm but daz is awesome and has helped me out, so has nyet. Check nefmoto for the whos who of the people that can actually tune these cars. I found out a few years ago that most of the big name tuners just outsource to these smaller guys who have all the skills anyway.

There isn't a best tuner. Your best bet is to locate a reputable tuner nearby, after that look for someone that does remote tuning and has good support.

I found out a few years ago that most of the big name tuners just outsource to these smaller guys who have all the skills anyway.

^ that's why I just "paid the man" and had my car professionally tuned on a dyno. Ill take pride in the fact I'll do everything else myself lol. I understand a lot about tuning but I'd rather not dabble in it. I don't have the time to dedicate to do it correctly (aka consume your life)

I'm on long island. I go to Forcefed engineering in deer park. They do eurodyne maestro licence tunes, they will tune just about anything with a motor. If your in the tri state area I'd definitely email them.
Not gonna lie maestro was a little more than I personally wanted to spend, but not that out of the norm for a dyno tune. but its what they used and I got exactly what i wanted.
My car made 365whp on 21psi no meth, SRM intercoolers, 2.5 in HF cats and a stock cat back and air box.
Not too long ago an s4 put down 395 on meth on stock intercoolers. Dynojet dyno

Is that a recent change, no longer tuning cars with FT's? Did they give a reason? Seems a bit odd given that it is simply a turbocharger and one they have tuned previously.

Daz tuned my car. My car made almost 480whp on a dynodynamics dyno on just pump gas, for comparison the local K04 cars on meth made less than 420 on the same dyno.

Lol, you have been hanging out too much on Audi Revolution. Don't drink the koolade. Those guys over there (at least the ones that lie and try to get validation by acting like what they are saying is some well-known fact) are pretty ignorant about the B5, and completely ignorant about tuning Motronic systems. Nobody tries to correct the completely untrue stuff that they fabricate over there anymore, as they are just like a rabid dogs that get off on arguing for argument's sake. It is easier to just let their forum fill up with garbage than to try to actually correct all of the un-truth that they wantonly spew. (not to mention that they will just censor anyone with a dissenting opinion by collectively 'down voting' whomever the leaders attack with their sham of a karma system)

Daz seems to know his shit and have second to none customer service so I'm not hating. If I hadn't sold my B5, I would have traded my Lee tune for a Daz tune in a heartbeat.

How would they prove the critics wrong? I've argued with a few critics and come to the conclusion there are some people on these forums that will not let facts get in the way of what they want to believe. Poaching the big tuners tunes, lol, the big tuners are poaching Bosch's software to resell, that's how the game is played.

I remember these guys smashing records years ago with the 1.8T! They know what they are doing.

To the OP: Your "best" tune is going to be one that is developed with your car on a dyno, and it may take several visits & iterations to get it just right. There are some decent off-the-shelf starting points, but they can't capitalize as well on any variables (read: mods) you introduce. Try and look for a Motronic-savvy tuner that is local to you.

As for WMI, Aquamist is pretty much the standard.
