Im hoping someone has this and is still holding up? Would be a cheap alternative ($400) to a tubular manifold if quality and reliability are not compromised!?!?

Looks like my custom made manifold.

Except mine is Schedule 40 stainless steel.

Also my wastegate is placed in the middle.

Do these specs sound like a durable set up for turbo tube headers?
It would be sweet if someone already has this and post there results!

Ok, had to do a little investigating. Seems Maximizer is the same company as OBX. And with that being said, don't waste your money.

Oddly enough, OBX seems to be the rave over on the American muscle forum boards (Google it). Seems our cars like to pick and choose...like some women.

I had a stainless tubular exhaust manifold and downpipe from OBX on my old s10 a few years ago. I was impressed by the quality of it and it held up good. I know a few others running their manifolds on built v8's and theyre holding up just fine.

I find it odd. Even higher quality units like full race still crack on our car. But other cars can run cheap stuff with no problem. Weird!

    Atp clone ftw lol.

Wouldn't bracing the turbo prevent cracking? Some bottom mount turbo guys, don't have any load on the manifold (headers > flex pipe > turbo). On a bottom mount 370z all the weight of the turbo is carried by a bracket on the transmission.

That's the key right there, tons of people run without a brace and then wonder why they keep cracking manifolds. The Chinese KKK-flange tubular manifold also has a brace between the turbo flange and part that bolts to the head, something like that might be a good idea to add to this one if you buy it.

Wouldn't work seeing the turbo flanges is way too close to the head, unless someone feels the need to run their turbo facing backwards instead of the correct way. So I guess everyone that said it was worth the gamble just lost $400. lol
