06A block

im in desperate need of a 06a block, cars a 04 a4 engine AWM, but I'm pretty sure any 06a block will work. bare or not! thank you!

If you have an 04' it should be an AMB engine code, which is a 06b block. An AWM, which an 06a block would have come out of an 01' only. The thermostat area is different, and won't work with a b6 thermostat. They're close, but not exactly the same.

it has an AWM (head on it) the block is an 06a. I'm pretty well aware of the thermostats between the O58 and the 06A, i also have a b5 that i built with the 058 block (AEB)

but The AWM in mine was manufactured 02-05. And there is a early model of the AWM and a late model, CTS turbo sells a lower ring set for an early and late. mine has the late model.
