    Hello all!
Just wanted to make my first post with my new A4 that I'm pondering on naming Miss Scarlet. My last car was a 99 Dodge Avenger that I boosted, I still have her for some SCCA events on the weekends.

Anyway, as of now the only mod plans I have planned just require a couple cans of Plasti Dip and door seal lol.

    *EZ Lip
*Plasti dip front grille (not emblem), wheels, and chrome bumper molding
    *Debadge
*3M carbon fiber vinyl interior trim
    *Tint windows
    *Paint inside of headlights black
    *12% tint taillight film

I can't wait until the first nice warm spring day to get some customization done!

Here's a picture of my Venge

Nice. I like the red. I made an offer on a red 2008 and we just couldn't get together on $$.

Red is by far my favorite color (if you can't tell by my last car lol). I got lucky with the price on mine, the guy had it listed on craigslist for about $3,500 over book value but it turned out after I emailed him that he was in a car club I belong to and we knew each other well so I got a way better deal on it.

I've wanted this car for quite some time and have been a member here for years just lurking, now I finally have a reason to make posts :-)

I Had to order a new gas cap yesterday as I had the P0455 code, and the previous owner had mentioned he had had this code once before, so I just ordered a new one to hopefully take care of the problem.

Thanks menace, it is a beautiful shade of red :)

Well the new gas cap didn't clear the "close fuel cap" issue so ordered a new N80 valve to see if that will keep the messages and codes from coming back. Also had to order new battery bracket pieces as it did not have any on the car when I bought it. Should get those next week and I'll get to installing them whenever our lovely Montana weather decides to cooperate since I don't have the luxury of a garage.

Also thinking about replacing the cam follower soon too after reading into the problems that can cause and the pcv while I'm at it. She's got 77800 and hasn't had anything but the battery replaced yet so it probably wouldn't hurt.

Question. How are things in Greece, for the Greek people? You hear all sorts of things but you never get a first hand story.

its not the place but anyway long story short.
After very hard 5 years we finally got rid of politicians that where thinking only of themselfs and taking loans just to invest in their beach houses and taking money under the table just to make the arrangment with the creditors to take this loans.
Politicians and" rich friends " never payed taxes and finally when they had to return this loans they overtaxed the Greek population.
Allot of people and i mean allot lost their ,jobs our lives became very hard, and the most important lost our pride as a nation.
Most of us to keep our jobs are getting payed ridiculous salarys and we work 15 hours a day 7 days a week.
So now we changed our goverment to one that it seems that care about our countrys people and we are trying to recover from the nightmare.
We are trying to convience that we recognise that things went wrong and we will gratually return the loans that this bastards took but we just need some time frame to do it in order to stop people from sell their houses in order to have something to eat.
Any way i believe we will bounce back once again ( i hope soon)

Good luck, you'll need it. Tspiras will sell you out to keep Greece in the EURO. Ditch it, deal with the issues like Iceland did and come back stronger and without the ECB/IMF and Germany trying to run your life.

Posted this in the wrong section earlier, figured I would just throw it all in here instead.

Just picked up this 2007 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro 6MT and I couldn't be more excited! I've been eyeing them for quite some time and this one just fell in my lap! I'm slightly sad it's not an S-Line, but I can't complain in the least as it's pretty loaded and in near perfect condition!
So far I've changed out the N80 valve and got a new gas cap to clear out the P0455 code it was throwing and all is well now. I plan to change out the cam follower and PCV soon as well for preventative maintenance, 78k miles and still all original.

I made it an entire week without tinkering or modifying my new ride, and my wife and friends are surprised I lasted that long lol. Bought myself a piece of 3M 1080 Carbon Fiber Vinyl and wrapped the silver interior trim, chrome rear bumper molding (it was in rough shape from never being properly scrubbed clean), front license plate bracket, and B pillar appliqué moldings.

    Before & After

    Near future plans include:
Summer tires (currently has new Pirelli snow tires)
Plasti-Dip the front grille and wheels
Debadge the deck lid and paint the rings black
    Window Tint
DICE IPod connector with the Specdoc
    LED City Lights & DRL's
Painted headlight housings and possible clear corners (I actually kinda like the amber)
Smoked bumper reflectors and fender lamp
Twaillight tint film (lightly smoked, not blacked out)
    Front Cupra lip
    3 piece rear spoiler

The list of far future mods keeps adding every day....... Exhaust, wheels, suspension, hid fogs....... as for now I'll just do little things and make good on my payments.

One last picture to whore out, next to my wife's 06 LGT

Thanks everyone! I sure love this car! Only thing I'm noticing is that it doesn't feel like it's running the best it can. She pulls really hard in first when the boost kicks in when I romp on it, but in second it starts with just as hard a pull as first but only for a moment before it feels like it kinda "drops off" and doesn't have as much power. Almost like it's in a safety mode and not letting it have full power. It still accelerates well when wot or just doing some spirited driving, but I feel like this car should be pulling a little harder than it does.
My thought was a boost leak but I'm not so sure because of how well it starts off. Any ideas?

On another note, it's supposed to be in the high 50's tomorrow so the deck lid emblems are coming off!!! ;)

Just thought this. It probably wouldn't hurt to run some injector cleaner with my next tank of gas and maybe even a good Seafoam treatment too. Might help her run a little more true, I know it sure helped on my old Venge!!

Injector cleaner doesn't do much since our cars are direct injection.
What ever makes sense go with the opposite and you got it

Ahhh, didn't take that into consideration. Still used to my old Avenger that was indirect and had an extra set of injectors in the intake manifold for tuning. I wonder what it could be. It's at about 3k in 2nd that I notice the "power loss." It's not a huge thing, I just doesn't feel quite right.

Anyway we had some decent (but still windy) weather yesterday so I debadged both my Audi and my wife's Legacy :) I'll get some pictures today.

Why is that Biged? Direct injectors still get dirty. ??

Finally got around to wrapping the little triangle rear door appliques with the 3M vinyl to match the B-Pillars. :)

How did you go about wrapping the window pieces?

The B-Pillar appliques remove with two bolts on the bottom and were easy to wrap. The triangle ones on the rear door can only be removed with the entire window frame so I just placed the vinyl over them and trimmed it to the right size, tucking the slight access in behind the molding. A little time consuming but worked perfectly!
