    htrac vs quattro

    Anyone test out the genesis?

    Make fun all me all you want but when I was thinking of my next new car I had the genesis on the list but at the time it didn't have awd and didnt want to wait so i end up buying the a4 and loving it.

    Just wondering since its out if anyone had tested it out

    Also curious.. I basically did the same thing and I'm definitely interested to see how good HTRAC is and overall ride.

    Not to get off point, but anyone making fun of Hyundai or KIA would be well served to pay very close attention to what they're doing. They are a car company working extremely hard to make competitive vehicles with the Japanese and even now the Germans. Keep an eye on 'em ---- they're building good stuff. Now back to the OP's question.

    I was unaware that they even offered AWD on the Genesis. Is it on the coupe or sedan? I looked into both before I got my A4; the sedan is an incredible value but the RWD blew it for me.

    im guessing the "htrac"will be haldex? which doesnt really compare in some cases to propper quattro. But for the main part they all have their advantages and disadvantages

    it is def one i will consider when im ready to get another car

    however we will see what changes come in the next 5 years.

    still looking to see if anyone has test driven one and his thoughts
