Does supercharger whine get louder with pulley upgrade?

For those who had an intake installed and then later did the pulley upgrade, did the intake or supercharger whine become louder? I have an Injen intake and just installed an AWE Track exhaust last week. I no longer hear the supercharger with the exhaust so I'm considering getting a Roc-Euro. However, I'm getting an APR or GIAC tune and pulley upgrade down the road and wondering if having a smaller pulley will make the supercharger louder. Want a little more sound from the supercharger but if it gets louder with the pulley, I'll leave the Injen intake on. Anyone have feedback?

I had my cts intake when stock and now stage 2. I want to say that it seems slightly louder after stage 2, but not something I see making enough difference if you can't hear the intake at all now... maybe I'm wrong.

it got louder for mine, but I have the quieter APR intake. I get some nice whine at 1/2 throttle from 2-3k, and the usual upper rpm wail.

You run more boost so the noise should be slightly more noticeable but no major difference. Change the intake (to remove the box) if you want more noise.

Smaller pulley will spin faster and should make more noise..I cannot speak to anything either than stock, but it is more noticeable in my case..S

If you want S/C noise then get the Roc-Euro intake its plenty loud in stock form. So once you get a tune prudence says it should be louder.

No, the pulley upgrade not afect overral engine noise, the intake systems do!
