    C7 A6 foglight retrofit

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Is it possible to retrofit foglights to a 2012 A6? I pulled the foglight grill off and it looks to have mounts there to hold a fog light. Didnt see any wiring though. I assume I would need a new headlight switch with the front fog button, but what else would be necessary or is it even do-able?

    I found this switch online

What foglight grill? You mean the slots where the radar cameras would normally go?

Yep I think that's what he's talking about, but I know I saw a member on here did put fog lights in the spot where the radar cameras go.

ahh - ok, I think Vijay did that to his car. That does remind me of a question I've been meaning to ask - I was under the impression that the 2013 Innovation Package included the Driver's Assistance systems. I saw a car for sale the other day that had the Innovation Package but did not have the two round radars up front. Is it possible to have Driver's Assistance and not have those two cameras? OP, I think Vijay's handle here is VVG or something close to that. He may have done a write-up here or on Audiworld.

the lower grills where every other car in the world would have fog lights. I do not have radar cameras on my model. When I removed the grill it looked like there was room and mounting holes for installation of a fog light. I found pictures of C7's with fogs

I did this. Installed Hella driving lights in the space for the ACC radar pods. You will need to get the appropriate sized lights and the grill inserts for a car with ACC. You can wire the switch for the light however you like.

If I'm reading his post correct, those lights are capable of integrating into your factory headlights. Don't all A6's have a foglight enabled headlight switch?

It's a P+ with xenon headlights and no foggies or "all weather lights"
