Thinking of a quad exhaust set up..S3 rear diffuser fit the A3?

Looking for a quad diffuser for a potential quad exhaust but I'd only get it if I could find a decent enough diffuser. Does anybody know if the S3 diffuser is a direct replacement for the A3 rear diffusers?

For sure on the A3 Prestige, but I haven't confirmed on the premium and premium plus A3. I believe they're the same, but not certain.

The shape of the reflectors looks inverted between these 2 bumpers. Not sure if that will affect the shape of the diffuser cut out though. The Milltek car has the same reflector shape as the S3 bumper. Could be splitting hairs here lol...

That's a good catch, I didn't even notice it..also the bottom of the bumper flairs a little differently between S3 and A3, although similar to you, not sure if that would affect fitment or aesthetics..

    hi everyone,

i am not too sure if im correct for saying this, but in the photo posted above of the A3! i don't think it has got the S-line body kit!!
i recently, well not recent but 2 months ago i purchased a 2014 Audi A3 sedan Quattro S-line 8V. and by the way im from Australia so i know that it is slightly different engine to the one in USA. since here in Australia, even for the A3 Quattro it is still 1.8TFSI but it is indeed way faster than the 1.8 FWD!!

    anyhow sorry for the blabbing...
i do noticed that, the reflector is way off different in the photos above when comparing the A3 and the S3.
since i also do seek an answer as how i can get Quad exhaust system on my A3, i noticed that in the photo for the S3 rear bumper looks very much like my A3 rear bumper! having said that, even the reflector is exactly the same as the photo of that S3.
so that photo of the A3 that's used for comparison of the S3 isn't S-line.

and if you guys look at the A3 with milltek exhaust system, that A3 has got the full S-line body kit which is the same body you get as standard on the S3.

let me know if i make any sense or please correct me if im wrong.

and by the way, i am very much new to this forum and post as i have been reading all over the internet for parts and just curious with so many things that you can do for the A3.

Is the S3 sedan diffuser interchangeable with the s-line hatchback bumper?

I meant S3 sedan diffuser to an A3 s-line hatchback.

Both S3 sedan bumper and the S3 Hatchback bumper look a little different.

I have and A3 s-line hatchback but all the rear diffusers I see fit the 2015 S3 Sedan

does anyone know if this is the case after face-lift? My car is 2017 a3 premium and I want to install Remus catback but need the S3 diffuser. My rear bumper does look like the S3 in the pictures above with the reflectors pointing up.

As long as you have an FL S-line sedan, the FL S3 sedan rear diffuser will fit.

You can also check parts.usa website to confirm.

Thanks for your reply! I have searched part numbers for all diffusers on FL series A3/S3 (2017-on) and found s-line & standerd are NOT compatible as you suggested. Does anyone know of an aftermarket option for standard bumber diffuser with quad pipes?
