    Bent Control Arm?

    So, I was picking my girlfriend up from the airport in louisville, when I pulled into the garage I hit a huge patch of ice and slid into the curb. The airport knew about the situation cause it happened to 2 people before me and I actually watched 2 people hit the same curb after me too.
    Well, I filed a report and hope they will pay for the damages, but here is what it looks like.
    The wheel is scuffed up,but it looks like the wheel is pushed back a inch or two. Maybe bent lower control arm?
    I was able to drive it home slowly

    Get under there, look and check the wheel for play. Depending on how badly bent it is, it'll be pretty obvious. It's possible you may have messed up the bearing as well.

    With the car in the air, the wheel didn't have much play at all. Nothing looked broke. I just want to figure it out before I order parts

    In a situation like that I end up replacing all of the arms because I always worry about what might have been damaged in the impact. Plus it gives me an excuse to refresh everything under there.

    Agreed. Plus tie rod end, and of course an alignment. I did a similar thing, and luckily for me the subframe wasn't shifted or damaged. The upright should probably be okay as well.

    So here is what I found to be the problem


    Here is the wheel after


    Everything else is less than a year old, so the control arm is all I changed
