Audi A5 2.0T Engine Sounds Silent When Accelerating, Help?

This started all of a sudden, my brother took the car out and ran over a rock going 80 mph nothing else though. I had exhaust checked and it was fine. When i accelerate it sounds like it is clogged and congested however the car does seem to accelerate fine. Like when you have a cold and your nose is stuffed, that is how i would describe the engine sound. What could this be? The car has 8k miles on it. Help is very much appreciated! :)

Okay so yeah i did notice the acceleration was also effected. I went to american tire depot and got 2 new tires put in as 2 of them were damaged. I also did there fuel system cleaning service which cleans the fuel injectors and rest of the system it may be placebo but the acceleration feels so nice and the engine so smooth. The guy there also told me to stop putting Arco Premium Gas and go with like Chevron etc. The sound and acceleration is awesome now! I also went to the dealer first and told them the ride does not feel right and the engine sound. So the guy drove my car and said it was fine then i asked to drive another a5 he let me drive a used one with 8k miles and it sounded just as awful. Then drove one with 50 miles and it sounded great. After the fuel system cleaning at american tire it sounds like the 50 mile Audi. I'm going to stick with higher quality stations and gas now also do the fuel system cleaning which is $90 every 10k miles. I got the love for the car again!! This is a must for our cars.
