Hi guys, I post this thread cuz I have a small problem deciding if my car now needs a lowering sport spring upgrade.
because I just bought thru ebay this badboys!

19" AVANT GARDE M590 CONCAVE WHEELS

size: 19x8.5 front and 19x8.5 rear
offset: 45mm front and 45mm rear

So i dont know if I need the lowering spring, because i dont have the new set of wheels they're OTW....so the gap between the fender and the wheels is ??????? i dont know if its going to be big or small..... So this forum is a great community for helping.... do i need the lowering spring or NOT

    so please! recommend me something!

There will definitely be wheel gap. I'd recommend the H&R springs.

you will lose a bit comfort.

and you will noticed your car sits considerably lower than every other car on the road.

You'll feel like a short person in your car, amongst the other drivers in their tall sedans.

At least that's how I view it.

I didn't even want the Sports Package when I was building my A3 this past summer because Audi made the Sports Suspension mandatory for the package.

So I negotiated out during the build.

I was willing to forgo those sport seats and paddle shifters and that Drive Select button on the dash because I didn't want that lowered suspension that meant bumpier ride than soft, shorter car height.

I told my Dad what I did and he told me I should have got the Sports Suspension, lowered height equals better cornering.

Then I was beginning to regret my decision, plus that DS button, I wasn't sure if the car menu would still have the option to switch modes without the physical button, found no threads about this.

    Long story short.

When I picked up my car this past November and my dealer showed me the sticker card, I saw it still had the Sports Package, despite having negotiated it out of the price.

So I'm dealing with lowered height, and quite frankly I'm going make my ride real soft once I get rid of the All Season 18"s for some good solid Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2 winters.

So your recommendation is that i don't need the lowering spring? Or don't run the 19" wheels?
