Just curious what kind of vehicle you'd be running against him and what it can do in the 1/4? His bike with a novice rider will still run under a 10.5. Decent rider will consistently turn sub 10's easily.

Anyway, maybe it's because I'm not a drag racer, but while he did not "technically" beat the Mustang, his car did run a faster quarter mile time than the 5.0 did. That's "beating" him in my eyes.

If you have a faster time you win. No one would go to the strip and say they beat an Alpha GTR just because the driver had a slow reaction time...

Because the sun has finally found it's way and set again on the western shoulders of our bud @2.0T_A3 ... once it has set it never deviates... it only gets worst from here for our friend...

This is how i was looking at it. I think most people on here attempt to get the lowest ET possible and most don't care about reaction time. If he was bracket racing then i could understand.

He just got some new mods on his car and was more focused on getting a good time rather than getting off the light asap. His only mistake is he should've named his thread "My car ran a quicker 1/4 than a Mustang 5.0". It isn't that serious of an offense...to most people. Some people look way too deep into stuff just to look for an excuse to rip on others.

I, for one, am thankful that OP is posting results for his B8.5 mods as I'm looking to get a tune come spring.

Some members do rip on others bit much but you can check how this genius tries to troll other threads and PMs personal insults to people. In addition, he abuses his veteran card like crooked journalist writing a furor story about black criminals resisting arrest and end up dying. It looks like military service experience did not help him grow mentally.

Anyhow, I enjoy reading what he writes. His posts trigger other members to create/find funny memes.

You should thank your auto shifting transmission and quattro, not the tune. He had every reason to give you an attitude. You are a typical ADB. One pass against a 5.0 loosing traction and still whooping your a$$ and you are posting this crap up. Super sad drag n00b ADB!

First to the line wins not highest trap speed, not quickest et. He should have said his car is quicker than a 5.0 he lined up with. And honestly the mustang had such a crappy pass, blowing out the tires on the top of the first 2 gears and trapped much higher, I wouldn't even claim that.

To get to the heart of my gripe. The guy in the Mustang needs to learn how to drive and the guy in the Audi that had his car drive for him (autoshift, quattro, etc) still had to make this post. Maybe he should learn how to read a timeslip or what a win light is at a drag strip before claiming a win that was really a loss.
