Thanks guys. Still a work in progress but there's more to come soon. I'm set on new wheels, but I need to sell these one first.
Ironically, I wanted nothing to do with this color until I saw it in person. I was dead set on Ibis White but saw this one on the lot and it grew on me instantly.

How many miles are on your car? I have a 2013 a4 with 27k miles with an awe exhaust and downpipe, ecs turbo inlet hose! I would love to get a tune but I really don't know if I'm willing to just throw away my warranty just yet

I have a '14 with 6k....I can understand where your coming from. If something happens I will just have the tune pulled off and then put back on....too easy. That is the best part about the port running feature.

I don't think thats true. People have been saying in the APR thread they flash to stock and they were fine. I plan to get a flash pretty soon and i'm at 6k miles.

Had 2 dealership visits for scheduled maintenance and warranty on wheel bearings. No TD1 both times and got denied for warranty on wheel bearings because of all the dealerships to end up with I happen to get the one who writes down the mods (ie:suspension ) and reports it to audi and I was denied warranty for my wheel bearings!. No flash was detected when I reflashed back to stock. Go figure!!!

Nothing new yet. Got some new hardware on order that should be here in a few weeks.

Until then - a few shots I grabbed on a foggy night a little while back. A woman walking by actually crossed to the other side of the street from me and called the cops on me while I was shooting. Like, looking back over her shoulder at me while on the phone saying "Yeah, he's on the bridge blocking traffic doing something suspicious."

Lol.

Sherriff came. Complimented my car. Said the lady was being ridiculous, and left me to my business.

Do they not require a front license plate in Cali? Here in colorado they give you one for the front and one for the rear. I know Arizona only gives out one. Anyways, beautiful car!!!

Thanks. It really does look better in person than in any of the marketing pics I've seen as well. I was hesitant to go with it for that reason but aside form an S-Line conversion, I didn't love any of the other options. When it arrived, I finally got to see it in person and it looks much much better.

The only downside to it, is that it's really thin. It's a pure CF formed weave - not a CF overlay on top of fiberglass or ABS plastic. I'd be afraid to ever take it off for fear of cracking it into a hundred pieces.

Oh, they do - but I've been rolling without a front plate for 10 years now. I've only gotten cited for it once. They'll typically give you a verbal warning instead of a ticket, because not having a front plate give them probable cause to pull you over - which is always in their favor. They know you're not gonna go home and put your plate on.

Thanks man. I have a love hate relationship with the wheels - sometimes I feel it's too much gray. On top of that, the M590's are just too common nowadays.
I'm actively looking to replace them at the moment but undecided on three different alternatives.

I'll cross that bridge when I get there in a few years. CA is supposed to have already implemented an 100% OBD-II based smog scan by now, but it's not in place yet. I'd certainly fail visual inspection simply with the HFC.

I'm hoping that by the time smog comes around, they will have moved to the new system, and the use of E85 in the tank at that time will reduce my emissions enough to be within passable limits. Probably wishful thinking but we'll see.

I recently installed a Carbon Fiber Trunk Lip to match the diffuser so used it as an excuse for a mini-shoot tonight.
I also ordered new wheels over the weekend, but they'll take about 2 months to build.
