Audi S3 Sedan Milltek Exhaust System // Photo’s and Video!! // TAG Motorsports

We’ve been waiting for a company to give our S3 a better sound and Milltek was the first to arrive. With this catback exhaust, and large 100mm tips, the new sound can only be described as angry and aggressive. Install was simple with a tight fit. There wasn’t much need for adjustment as those large tips filled out the rear openings quite well.


The exhaust package includes:
1 x Center Silencer Delete Pipe
1 x Rear Silencer Assembly
4 x Tip Outlet Pipes
4 x Polished Trims











As you can see, once installed the exhaust has an aggressive look especially with the ceramic black tips.














Now for the part you all want to see, the video. We kept it simple with inside and outside recordings and flyby footage as well.

Imo it's really hard to make a 2.0L 4cyl sound good. The stock system does pretty well at making the engine sound sporty, this does an even better job. Sounds great.

I love my blurps (aka DSG farts). It's a matter of taste, but in my case, I think it sounds awesome.

They do make an A3 specific exhaust which is not a whole lot different, just has a few minor tweaks that are more specific for the A3. Considered doing that instead?

I'm definitely considering it, but there was a mention of the S3 exhaust being more aggressive, and with the tune it's not apparent which one would be optimal performance-wise either.

I'll chime in here. the non-valved S3 system will fit right up on the A3 Quattro with just a valance change. The valance is pricey. I can't recall exactly, but somewhere around $400 i think. Did some homework - So you can certainly do the NON-Valved Quad Tip System to fit your A3 Quattro, You are in the ballpark of $2600-2900 (depending on what options/tips you go with.)

The Valence alone is roughly $625. Give me a call/shoot me a PM if you have ANY questions at all!

Performance wise, there really is not much of a difference, that primarily only reflects sound.

Yes, this system increases to 3" piping. That is from the OEM 2.5".

Hey guys, how does the valved version connect or work to have it open/close with Comfort & Dynamic mode? I don't see the non-valved exhaust on the TAG Website, is the non-valved exhaust the "loud" version of the valved, all the time?

It functions by connecting to the factory valve control wiring. In regard to the non valved system, yes it stays in the louder mode.

The sound is insane! Honestly I struggle a lot with the fitting.
First I needed to shorten the 4 outlet pipes.
Now the tips hang a bit to much down in my opinion.

That is strange. The hangers may need some adjustment (minor bends) because I believe that is the only way to achieve any height adjustment with this system.
