Question Torque for Wheel Bolts on SQ5 21"

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Looking to get my wheel spacers installed. Does anyone know the torque spec of re-installing the wheel bolts. It's a 2015 SQ5 with the OEM 21" wheel if it matters.

So that's 103 ft/lbs for the US. Thank you!

So, did you wind up getting the 12/20 combo?
I really like the way the 12.5mm look up front.
Slap up some pics when you get them mounted.

Sure...did! Took your advice with the 12/20 combo. I'll get those on while everyone is sleeping after Thanksgiving dinner. Already got the fog lights replaced so they match the OEM HID (much better). With any luck, I'll have the windows tinted by the end of the weekend.

I'm a weekend detailer, so I spent the entire weekend (we picked it up on Saturday from the dealer) cleaning it up. I specifically asked the dealer NOT to wash or do any exterior prep...so it was pretty dirty from it's travels. Most people would never notice, but dealer mar the finish pretty bad when they prep cars (unless they employ a true detailer). Anyhow, it's all perfected and looks better than any car in any showroom.
Funny part is...my wife won't drive it in the bad weather (especially due to the tires), so now it's just going to sit in the garage until spring. Uuggh...more waiting. At least I can look at it now.

I'll get some pics up real soon so you can check it out. And thanks for all the help and advice so far. Next is LED lights for the interior. Not sure what to get though, as I want high-quality white lights...not cheap blue-cast lights. There's so many out there and the prices are all over the place. And most places don't indicate the color-temp of the products. So I'm just not sure on this one yet.

Looking forward to seeing the pics. I'm a detailer as well, and always enjoy seeing a well corrected-and-protected finish. FWIW, I'm @ 16-months after applying OptiCoat, and remain amazed at the protection, gloss, and now that we're seeing rain, beading.

    Enjoy the machine.

Definitely...most people just don't see paint (gloss, shine, reflection, imperfections, etc) quite like us. I ended up doing CQuartz UK on this vehicle. Not sure what to expect, but the initial looks is stellar. I chose the coating to see if it could be a sacrificial layer to any micro-maring, as I hear the Audi paint can be hard to correct. I'm new to Audi, so we'll see. Being that I actually enjoy old fashioned waxing, I may have a hard time NOT messing with it. I've heard great things about OC...16mo is amazing...curious to hear how it passes through another winter.

CQUK is awesome - the gloss is amazing. You mention the Audi clear - I assume you did some corrective polishing prior to applying the coating?

Yes I did polish it first with a fine-polish. Granted, it wasn't bad, but it had alot of little scuff marks and really fine scratches from the Audi shipping bag (probably from the bad vibrating around during transit). They were by no means "hard" to remove, but there were a few spots I had to do a couple passes with the finishing polish. Those same little marks on my Ford truck would have easily come out just by me spitting on them; so I can see the Audi clear is quite different. I can assure you it was darn-near flawless before the CQUK went on. Again...I'm hoping the coating can take the brunt of some of the marring that occurs. Then I can simply buff them away easily and re-coat when the time comes. That's my theory anyhow!
