Any difference between 2011 and 2012 Audi A4 fronts?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I am thinking of changing my front fog lights and front grille but on ebay they are saying the product is only for 2009-2011 and leaving 2012 away from buying their product. So does this mean the 2011 model and 2012 model has a different size? Also what about an Avant? Do Sedans and Avant have same size on Grille/fog lights?

    thanks much appreciated.

Weren't the 2012s all S-line exteriors? They were the last MY before the facelift.

No. I've heard people say that too, but they're completely wrong.

The A4 had the same 2 front ends from 2009-2012, base and the S-Line.

The difference is that pre-2012 you had to order the full S-Line package to get the S-Line bumpers. Whereas in 2012 the S-Line bumpers came standard with the Premium Plus package. This is often referred to as the S-line 'appearance' package. So there are a ton of 2012 A4s with S-Line bumpers.

Not true at all... I just looked at a 2012 Premium Plus A4 on Autotrader that didn't have S-line bumpers or badges. I can provide a link if you'd like.

It's pretty subtle, but look at the fog light grilles and body lines on hood that carry onto the bumper cover. S-line=sexy

Until seeing this I never knew the difference. The rear is easy to tell but for some reason I never liked it more than the standard.

I wouldn't pay more for an S-Line exterior when the difference is so subtle.

My 2012 Audi A4 is a non-Sline. I wanted to get a S-line but the price on this non-Sline was unbeatable and was the only white audi A4 available 200+ miles away with low mileage.

That was my confusion. Appreciate it. I knew they were much more common in 2012.
