Trying to to get a poll going to see which is the more popular wheel amongst B8 owners. I like both, but lean more toward the Niche's, but what about you?

^ This, or let your wallet decide and grab the cheaper set. Both are great looking wheels.

They are both basically the same. I think that I prefer the Niche over the AG. But the ultimate decision is up to you.

I'd go with the Niche because of all of the complaints I've seen lately about poor finish on the AG's.

    Good point!

I agree that they look almost the same, but I do like the clean lines of the Avant Garde's, though I prefer the lower offset of the Niche's. Niche's offer a 19x9.5 with et35, while Avant Garde's only offer et40 in that same size. I'm currently at 19x9 et33, and the Avant Garde's would put me at 1mm farther in, while the Niche's would put me 4mm farther out. The only concern is going lower, which I am really itching to try (I'm on ST Coilovers with no fender gap) and the Avant Garde's would really allow me to go lower. Anyhow, I'm torn.

Avant Gardes. We run them on a CC and S6 and have 0 issues with finish. In reference to the the posts on finish, AG is addressing them.

Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions on AG wheels as we do sell them.

Neither, go with Renn Motorsport RS51 from sonic tuning, they are flow formed, so lighter than both, look about the same and priced about the same.

Not bad, but doesn't look like they're deeper than these. I'm looking for a deep concave wheel.

both are almost the same so i'd go with whichever you prefer of course. but i'd say i'd give the slight edge to the AGs, i do like the details on the spokes of the Niche one, but i like how the spoke arches towards the center are more squared up while they are more rounded on the Niche, and also the spacing is a bit more even and squared on the AGs, so IMO the AG has a slightly more nicer/cleaner looking side profile view.

I'm gonna test fit both tomorrow or Saturday and will go with the one that fits best. The difference is gonna be 5mm in the offsets. et40 will allow me to go lower, but I'll have to see if et35 lets me do that. Both are 9.5 wide.

AG's were on backorder and still are until Jan 2015, so I got the Niche Targa's.

I got the Niche ones, in anthracite finish! But thinking of selling them and get the AG one´s in satin bronze finish!

In my opinion if your getting them in a big width size (9´5) that would make the wheel concave, Ill go with the AG ones, but if they´re not, go with Niche, they look better than the AG´s in smaller width size!

What size and offset are the wheels and what size are the tires? Do the tires rub into the front fender liner when turning?

They are 19x9.5 et35 and am running 245/35/19 on the tires. No rubbing. In fact, I can go lower because I got a little stretch with the slightly wider wheel (I was previously running a 19x9 wheel). I have to adjust my coilovers though because I'm at 25" ground to fender on both wheels of the passenger side and the other side I have the rear wheel at 25 1/4 and the front at 24 3/4. I need to fix that.

I was thinking about doing 20x10 et40 with 255/30/20 I'm on non s line suspension and was thinking about h and r oe springs but before I do it I wanted to be sure I don't rub when turning.

Here are the professional pictures taken by Need4Speed Motorsports in Glendale, CA.

Not only did I receive the best costumer service, but the best pricing anywhere and I definitely did my part to shop around for the best pricing.

Major props to Vahe for his dedication and patience throughout the entire process. We were both waiting on the avant garde to be manufactured, but when I changed my mind and went with the niche targas, he quickly scheduled me in for the wheel install.

I'm really happy with the entire process and look forward to working with Need4Speed in the future.

Though the AG 510 and 580 are very similar, the 580 is the one that's basically identical to the Niche 131. They both feature a sort of scallop in the windows.

I was torn between the AG 510 and 580 for awhile until I decided to go with Vossen VFS1.

I feel the AG is a better quality wheel and I think (not certain) it may be lighter than the Niche. Again, just guessing.

The finish on the 510 is horrible, so unless the niche are spray painted they will be better quality

The niches are machined silver. I read that the matte finish on the avant garde's are a pain to clean because the finish is naturally porous and traps dirt. These niches however, don't trap dirt and look nice and glossy at night.

I had them on for two months.

The quality is great, but I love my peelers and I LOVE and PREFER the OEM look! I love the way the peelers look (they're much beefier) and one small perk about the peelers is that I can clean them with my wheel brush and dry all four wheels with a single blue shop towel! The Niche's, I had to clean those by hand with a small microfiber sponge to get the inside of the wheel because they run deep! Anyhow, the wheels are great, but I loved by peelers better.

For now, I'm still undecided whether I want to sell them and so I have them stored in my garage.

My Niche's are now for sale in the classifieds. They are in mint condition. I decided I'll keep the peelers on for good.
