Storing off-season tires in NYC/Westchester/North Jersey area

With all the winter tire vs. all-season threads, it's making me reconsider using all-seasons. Unfortunately, living in NYC, I have no room in my apartment (of course) and work is out. So, I would have to store them someplace. While I could rent a storage place, it seems crazy to spend $40/month to store tires.

Does any tire place offer storage for the off-season? That would be awesome: just drive there and swap.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried Audi Manhattan? I know BMW Manhattan offers storage.

No, and I refuse to do business with them based on being burned in the past.

Most tire shop will store for a fee..my shop stored my winter set for 14 dollars a month

If you ask nice and bring a 6pak of decent beer you can store them in my dry basement In Brooklyn.. Hah

I found a shop that was willing to store for me (Rennewerke in Elmsford, amazing Porsche shop) for $100. That's much cheaper than renting a storage place and I don't have to deal with schlepping the tires around. They do road force balancing and have excellent reviews on Tire Rack and Yelp, so I went with that. Never seen so many p-cars in one place!

An update to this. I switched my tire storage to Eurotech Motorsports in Mahwah, NJ. Same price, but they store them *inside*. Plus, based on the many reviews, that's the place to get Audi mods done in the tri-state area. Shop looked great and clean. Ryan was happy to take time to discuss potential mods.
