I was thinking of a light color for the next car but I will keep it for at least 5 years and I've seen many old cars with those interiors with stains, discoloration, large shiny patches etc.
Mine is a 2011 and the previous owners were pretty rough on it. The beige leather gets very, very shiny after a little wear. In order to keep it looking fresh i have to stay on top of it. Very high maintanence but maybe that's just me.
Another issue i have with the beige is that it seems that the it actually
looks worn down. there are spots that just don't look right (turning dark) or even some stains that won't come out. if i had the choice again, given my children (11, 4, and 15 months) I would definitely choose a darker option.
Its so bad (imo) that i have even considered refinishing the entire inside with SEM lol. i know that may sound crazy and I'm just not sure how it would turn out so i'm kinda hesitant on it. I'm sure others have had a better experience if the car was actually treated like an audi by the previous owners... :/
