I know many of you have been waiting for this. We're taking pre-orders now for the first batch that will be sent over via airfreight in the next few weeks. Milltek should have a video available in the next week or so. Several different tip options available. These 3" systems include electronically operated valves just like the factory exhaust. Not sure why anyone is surprised by that price point. Their B8 S4 catback runs in the range of $2400. It's like saying HRE charges too much for their wheels. Quality costs $$$$$.

That is true however Magnaflow, Flowmaster and other high quality exhaust makers do full stainless exhausts as well that are half that price.

Does the exhaust require a tune, or should I say is this just a bolt on and go? No additional modifications required?

If you do cat back only yes. Also magnaflow and other brands don't put electronic or any valves in their systems

It's because it has electronic valves...no stranger to paying a premium for that, I had an Innotech exhaust on my 335. If you think 2500 is a lot for an exhaust you should see the price on anything from akrapovic, eisenmann etc.

We've decided to offer the first batch at a discounted introductory price. We've also added a non-valved option that starts at $1549. This lower cost system doesn't tie into the S3's ride select system. Valve delete modules are recommended with the non-valved system to eliminate the fault code associated when the valves are disconnected. Valve delete modules are $120 for the pair.

We just got the VERY FIRST Milltek S3 Exhaust in the states installed on our Project S3! We went with the valved, non-resonated system with Black Tips. Had a chance to drive it over the weekend and wow.... It really sounds good. No drone, the shifts burp a lot louder and the car gargles a lot more.

Dang. I paid 2.1k for my SS Akrapovic system with valves and carbon fibre tips for my Z06. 2.2k "discounted" is kind of pushing it IMO. Should just leave it at that price and not raise it.

Just thought I would chime in and give you guys a time tested update. Put quite a few miles on this system (including some long distance rallies) and this car sounds the way it should have from the factory. The valve functions are still flawless, the finish still looks great. We really cannot say enough about this system. Milltek nailed this one.
