That is one well put together setup. Small correction, but I think it is 4.9 seconds not 4.49 as posted by speed tv and originally by stasis and apr. Their numbers sure have been inflating lately. That car was out at Sebring for the 12 hour races. Looked very nice. cheers! Mike

Typo. I thought that sounded off.

I just copied what they printed. It is a nice ride though. And that price isn't all that bad considering what some of us spend on aftermarket parts.

I agree. It is also much lighter than an s4 and that's always a good thing. cheers! Mike

Isn't the S4 B6/B7 around $55K though?? I seem to recall sticker shock when I was at the dealer looking at the S4. For what you're getting, that STaSIS A4 is quite sweet.

Very nice car, awesome brakes and suspension. I am pretty sure it hit a 13.4 at the Car and Driver shootout. Maybe someday Jason and I can meet up to see how our cars compare.

The guys at STaSIS are awesome, I really appreciate the time they took setting up my differentials and tweaking my 14.5 inch STaSIS/Alcon Motorsports brake kit. (they also tweaked on my STaSIS/Alcon Trackspot rears)

I look forward to installing my STaSIS/Ohlins coilovers when I come home on October 23rd.

How are they knock offs? Doesnt Rays Engineering make wheels for Sportec? My friends sportec wheels had rays engineering stickers on them when he bought them new.

That is the car that APR & Stassis put together on this past season of Sport Car Revolution on the Speed channel:

They are still running episodes of this past season so you can put in the Tivo or use the Speed channel site to see which episodes are coming up.

It was pretty cool to see the car change drastically with each upgrade that was done.

I would also take that car over a B6 S4 anyday. You have to remember they changed out the differentials which give it better wheel distribution as well as higher rear wheel bias.

They have two priced on STaSIS;

2005, less than 1000 miles $47,000

2004, 11000 miles $45,000

not knockoffs, Rays makes them for sportec now because they ceased production. the wheel looks the same but weighs ~25lbs compared to the 32lb mono 10 that they originally sold. sounds good to me.

Really? I thought RAYS was making them for Sport Technic, Japan. I also heard Sportec AG has a suit against one of them, or both.

But if RAYS is making them for Sportec, then what are the ones with Sport Technic printed on them - the same? Maybe that's what the suit is about, although I also thought that Sport Technic was the Japan Sportec Dist. Really

now.

I also heard they were lighter then that from Eric (like 20lbs or less for 18's, 19's).
